I'm sure the quality of these foods are top notch, but my dog will not touch them. I have tried 6 or 7 Evander's and there's only one she'll eat. So I am sitting on 4 cases minus one can each and one minus 3 cans. Roughly out $170.

Bought this after reading the reviews and my dogs love this stuff.... While I usually buy the expensive dry dog foods, I wanted to give them wet food along with that so started buying cheaper cans of dog food like Alpo and Pedigree to supplement their meals. One of my dogs would eat it, but my other dog would barely touch it and someone times would look at me like I was punishing him and would go to back room, so I stopped feeding those. The only thing I could find that he would eat was wet cat food, I didn't like feeding him that because there wasn't much to it and he'd eat it within 5 seconds. Then I found this on this website and was a little reluctant to buy a case and find out he didn't like it, but I did anyways. When I opened it, the smell was pretty gross to me and I thought he would not like it, well to my surprise he loves it! When both dogs finish they'll go to each others bowl to see if the other one ate all theirs. So I would say this is a winner!

I know this is a dog food but I bought it for a finicky cat who has never eaten a single can of cat food in her life (she's fifteen-years old). She loves bacon and I thought I might be able to coerce her into trying something canned (just to spare myself some pet-dinner prep time). I was wrong. She snubbed her nose at this food, giving me one of those looks that said, "I will eat this when you eat this."
That's a no-go so I served this product to my two dogs. They ate it with no problems but they will eat anything so they aren't good judges. And it turns out, some cats do like this product - one of my dogs has no problems sharing with a cat who slips up between her front paws and I have two cats that will sneak up to nibble on this food (those two cats also like bacon and they aren't finicky eaters).
The downside, this product is fatty and since both my dogs are slightly overweight, it's not something I want to give them everyday. I think it stinks (I can't serve this when I'm dealing with a migraine) but the dogs (and cats) don't seem to mind the smell.

I feed my dogs more nutrition dense / high quality foods. Tis is a little watery, but they like it. I guess dogs love bacon too. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mack163 This product is hearty and healthy.
I changed from Taste of the Wild can food to Evanger's can dog food. This has a solid non-gravy consistency and I use less due to its density. I mix 4 tablespoon to Taste of the Wild dry dog food (I am please with this dry dog food).
My 60lbs pitbull/norwegian ridge back dog Mack was having loose bowels and this change resolved it. I didn't transition this change by mixing the old with the new. The very next day Mack had healthy solid bowels and has continue for over a month. I am so relieved and please that this product met my dog's dietary needs.
