Just like the Beef Stew and the Beef & Chicken, this one is wolfed down by the shepherd. Good price and affordable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gaylon Good stuff!!
My dogs love this stuff. I mix it with kibble and a vegetable and put about 1 TBL of virgin coconut oil over it. They clean their bowls!! This also seems to give them firm stools which is real important. Since it is all meat, you only have to use a little to mix with kibble. Glad I found something good for them that they really like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DoraK very tasty
My dog likes this classic recipe. The food has the right texture and it is easy to mix with dry kibble.
My dog likes when I 'dress' up his kibble and add moisture this way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jw02908 The perfect wet food....
Evanger's canned wet food (limited ingredient varieties ONLY) offer a magnificent addition to dry food for dogs that have allergies to potatoes as well as tapioca.
I mix this with Nutrisca dry food for a well-balanced and enticing meal for both of my Staffies.
Of note to this particular food: very, VERY limited ingredients; cooked in the steel can it is purchased in; super yummy for my pups; stores well in the refrigerator.
Evengers can be purchased at my local pet food store but this particular variety is not available....thank goodness for Chewy!

My dogs do a happy prance when I open a can. I just add water to this wet food to make a gravy to mix in with their kibble. They love it and with 2 dogs 1 can will last 3 days in the fridge with no problems.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hurrikane Good quality, but caution about the can
I have used several of the Evangers canned products. I ordered a case of this variety, and I think the food quality is good. However, the cans are not strong, and somehow one of my dogs has been able to sniff out this variety of canned, and before I knew it, she had chewed up two cans. The lids popped off WAY too easily, and my 26 pound girl was able to puncture a hole in the sides of the cans. I've always had canned food on an open shelf, and never have had the dogs even look at them. So there must be something about this variety that the dogs can smell it through the thin can, and I'm not impressed with the quality of the pop top lid. Just be cautious if these are anywhere your dogs can possibly reach the cans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TheDaneGang We love Evanger's
This is just one of the flavors that I feed my Great Danes. They love the taste, and I love that it's good for them. I know that I can give them Evanger's without worry. They use only human-grade food, with no soy, corn, wheat, artificial ingredients, harmful additives, preservatives or by-products. I mix the all meat "classics" with their kibble. I also use just the canned food to give them meds. I put it in the refrigerator to stiffen it up, then sneak their pills into small pieces that I spoon off. They gobble it down. It's less expensive than the treats they make for this purpose, and I don't have to worry about the ingredients that's in them.
