Rated 5 out of 5 by Perennial favorite Lip-smacking commences when this can comes out. My dog would be happy to eat this (and only this) every day. December 22, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great product Well my dog love it but the cost is very high. So I well not be buying this product until the price go down. Thank You. November 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Real chicken This is real chicken thighs cooked in the can. Even the bones are edible - squash them and see for yourself. My dogs think they are getting people food and especially love it. November 9, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Product I liked it, but my Lab is old & has ulcers, so she could not eat it without throwing up. My other two dogs loved it. Could use a little less broth; too much compared to the meat. July 21, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by 2 Paws Up for Chicken Thighs & Squishy Bones...but... I have 2 rescue dogs. My rescued Shih Tzu is a former puppy mill mommy (even has a USDA tattoo on her tummy :-(...) & a now senior black lab. They eat a variety of food--a mix of dry/wet & sometimes topped w shredded cheese for a change. The first time I brought home Evanders Duck, Rabbit & Pheasant food from an actual local family dog food store they knew something special was coming. But...I saw something never seen before w the Evanders Chicken Thighs food. My senior dogs sit up straight, eyes popped out from just the box of cans on the floor before putting them away. The black lab tried to pull a can out by knocking it over so I had to let them have some while I put groceries away. Got some dry food as a base for broth & dumped out the slightly weird looking chickeny concoction. The dogs would have high-pawed it if they didn't dive mouth first into the bowl. After they both sat in stunned silence with a "WHAT WAS THAT? look". The price is a little high but it isn't an every day thing. My one human complaint was after I served all 5 cans, 2 cans contained 10% chicken meat & 90% broth & jiggly fat globs. Maybe a $5 coupon (*wink wink*) would make me more inclined to add this to regular rotation of food. July 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good food Dogs (Cotons) were finicky - tried all kinds of dry and canned foods. The only food they quickly ate was broiled chicken from Sam's Club. Your thighs and braised beef are quickly eaten. Thank you June 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for our sick dog This product has been a lifesaver for our sick, anemic dog. The vet said he needed certain foods to help with his severe anemia including bone marrow, and this food contain whole bones that are soft and edible. This stuff does smell bad, but he loves it and so do our other 2 dogs. May 27, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Can't get past the smell. As I opened the can it instantly filled the house with a very bad smoke odor. Hey, I don't care as long as the dog eats it. Nope, dog (lab) could not get passed the smell either! Took a good few hours with the windows wide opened to air the house out. It now sits in the pantry waiting to be brought to the shelter.
