Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for mixing with dry food! Dogs love it! Since our normal brand is no longer available from chewy (Artemis Osopure 95% Salmon Grain-Free Formula), I selected this to try. This is great for mixing into dry food. If you were to feed this only as wet food, it's pretty wet and may not be preferred. My dogs love it!! October 29, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by No fish I agree with a previous reviewer who noticed this product contains less and less fish along with the hunk of beef which is half the beef it used to be. Stopped buying both products too much $$$ for broth September 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Saint Berdoodle loves Salmon We use Evangers canned food as secret sauce over 4 cups Orijen at each meal. The Saint Berdoodle loves salmon and loves this food. September 18, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nothing but broth I used to like this product. Having eight dogs whom I am very concerned about their diets and that they enjoy their meals, the Evangers Salmon was something I relied on to be a healthy and enjoyable addition to their dry food. The last two times I ordered a case, and I go through a case in a couple of weeks there was nothing but broth. I noticed that the cans have been becoming less salmon each time I ordered a case until the last two were broth. Before when I first started to order a case it was mostly salmon. I want my dogs to have salmon, so I suppose I will have to purchase it myself, since Evangers is not caring about quality. July 6, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Only for supplementary or occasional My Standard Poodle was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disorder and taken off chicken, beef--to eat only fish products (I also use Fromm's Tunalini) and I use only grain free foods. I somehow missed in description that this is recommended only for supplementary or occasional feeding--so I'm using it for one feeding over the Tunalini. Will not buy again. For that supplementary feeding, probably okay but for the price there are other better choices. June 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good food We love this food !!! And our 2 dogs AND two cats love it too. You can't get any simpler ingredients Love it !!! A food you can feel good about feeding your four legged family June 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Our pet loves the Wild Salmon! We thought we would provide a taste change for our pet but wanted to keep the same manufacturer and quality. Boy were we surprised! The dog loves the wild salmon and will quickly eat his feed whenever we rotate to this can! We provide him with beef, chicken, and other Evanger's grain free foods as well, but he really loves the wild salmon! May 31, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Inaccurate Labeling Info Because I add to my pets' food, the first thing I do is empty the can and then weigh the content. I've used Petguard, Holistic Select, Merricks, and others. All of them weigh either exactly the amount indicated on the label or within a gram or two. Not Evangers. I have used 7 of the 12 cans I bought and the content weighs anywhere from 15 grams to 25 grams under the amount indicated on the label. Again, I've used other brands and their weight is equal to the label weight so it's not my scale. I won't buy Evanger's products anymore. If I knew of some official place to weigh the content of the remaining 5 cans, I would. March 1, 2016
