Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 48 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product has a nice amount of meat. I like this dog food because this first ingredient is fish. My dog has allergies and fish is what he can tolerate. Plus on dog advisory it is highly rated. January 10, 2017
Rated 4 out of 5 by Picky Poodle 4 out of 5 dogs like this food. The picky poodle did not. We are having a hard time finding a food that she likes. January 1, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cody loves it I adopted my little gut Cody just about 2 years ago. After we adopted him he gained a lot of weight, after switching his food to Evangers he is a healthy weight and loves the food. December 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just switched My dogs have food allergies we used Merrick Backcountry which they loved but this food was also rated 5 starts on dog food advisor and is about $20 less for 10lbs more. They had no trouble switching over and really seem to like it. I like the addition of venison as an extra protein. We avoid beef and chicken and its hard to find dog food without it that isnt $70 a bag. December 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the prompt, free delivery of a superior product. My dog loves his kibble. No problem with switching him over from his previous food. December 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product My dogs love the fish based food. I would recommend any of the Evangers line of canned or dry food. I feed my pups both. October 20, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Even my finicky dog eats it! I have 2 adolescents and one will eat everything - food or not - and the other is watching his figure. My slender guy really enjoys this food. He's partial to fish flavors and this hits the spot. I will continue to order this brand and flavor for my boys! October 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Helpful for a dog with probable food allergies I have a pack of 5 pit bulls, 4 of them adopted, and a 5th dog that's a long-term hospice foster. Two of my dogs are fed freeze-dried/raw, and 2 others are kibble fed (no apparent allergies). The foster came to me over a year ago with a supposed chicken and/or grain sensitivity. To keep things simple I switched my own kibble fed dogs and the foster to a fish protein, grain-free kibble with sweet potatoes. I normally order 60# of kibble per month, and everything was fine for a year. Within a week of receiving my last shipment, however, all 3 of the kibble-fed dogs began scratching furiously, and my little hospice foster was actually bleeding despite wearing a shirt and being bandaged 24/7. After a quick bit of research, plus long experience with Evanger's canned Kosher products, I switched all of my kibble fed dogs to Evanger's Super Premium Whitefish & Sweet Potato Formula Dry Dog Food. Within 2 weeks almost all of the itching/scratching, and paw licking disappeared and we are back to a peaceful pack. Since I was not able to identify a specific change of formulation based upon the other vendor's supplied ingredients list, I will continue to feed Evanger's products at this time. February 15, 2016
