  • Portable and sturdy

    By on

I started traveling with my 51 lb 5 month old golden doodle and found it difficult to carry his 48" metal crate back-and-forth. I decided to invest in this portable kennel that only weighs 11 lbs vs the 30+ lbs of the wire kennel which is a pain to fold and carry. He still growing and will be at around 60-90 lbs but he should be fine in a 42" crate. Be sure to close all zippers when they're in there because mine kept chewing on the zipper when I left it partly open. So far it's durable I'll check back in a year.

  • Great crate

    By on

I love the ease of putting this crate up and how great it is to store but my little dog that's only 7 pounds was able to either scratch or bite a hole in this after only bringing in it for 3 hours. She's never showed any kind of behavior like this so I thought the soft side would be fine and I needed the ease of putting it up. The crate was great (thats why i gave it a 5) my dog not so good . I called customer service to see if there was anything I could do and was amazed at the great service I recieved and they gave me a complete refund even though it was my dog's fault . I have to say I've never had such good service from another company so the customer service also gets 5 stars.

  • Great for Travel

If you have a dog who is ALREADY crate-trained, these are lifesavers for traveling and not needing to carry around a heavy, folding, metal crate. I have 100lb+ dogs who will chill in these crates when camping, visiting friends, or staying in hotels without trying to escape. They could technically paw their way through the mesh if they tried, but because they are trained to stay, they just lie down and take a nap. If your dog is not crate-trained, I would recommend a sturdier plastic or metal one. They're very easy to set up and take down, and have two doors, one on the short side and one on the long side, as well as an opening at the top. • lasted all of one day

I really wanted this to work. We're going travelling with our cattle dog mix puppy soon and so we bought this to use in hotels and the car. It's super easy to set up and has a convenient handle to carry it when folded up. We decided to get our pup used to it so I had treats and toys inside it. She was loving it so much lying inside playing with both mesh doors to it open. I left the room for about ten minutes only to come back to discover she had chewed off the two door zippers. My fault for assuming this would be sturdy enough to resist a young puppy's teeth I guess..but I will not be recommending.

  • Much better than I had thought!

We are doing an out of state move and needed something smaller than her original crate. I have been searching high and low for one that was not too big, but not too small. Our dog is a Chi/Terrier Mix and weighs about 12-14 pounds. I was going to go with the next size up from the 21, but from the sounds of it, the 21 was for dogs 15 pounds or less. I took a chance and got the 21 inch and it has much more room then I had anticipated. She fits perfectly in there to lay down (we put her bed down and a blanket). She loves the fact that you can roll the sides up and she will go in and sleep. I also love the fact that you can take the cover off and wash it. • Great crate!

    By on

I purchased this crate after my chihuahua tore her CCL and needed to be cage bound for 6 weeks and this crate gave her more space than her metal wired cage. This crate was wonderful until she realized that if she scratched enough, she would be able to rip through the mesh. I'm not mad at all because the box clearly says not to use on pets that may do that, but I didn't think she was capable of that. I now simply use it as a hideout instead so anyone is welcome to come and go from it as they please and for that purpose, it is great!

  • Nice & light

    By on

I was looking for a "crate" I could easily lift and assemble and this one fits the bill. It was purchased to travel with, however, we have left it set up in the living room and our 35 lb dog uses it as a bed at home. It does not come with a mat so we purchased a standard flat crate mat that fits perfectly inside. I do not recommend leaving an unsupervised teething puppy or a dog not trained to a crate in here as they will eat it or damage it. Best for use where you can supervise.

  • Great for bedtime

We had been carrying our puppy's crate from the kitchen to the bedroom and back to the kitchen each day/evening, which was OK while we had a smaller crate! At 4 months, we needed to move up to a 36" crate - not as easy to carry through the house. We ordered this crate for our double doodle to sleep in - it's perfect! Very lightweight, nothing inside for a curious puppy to chew on, plus we no longer needed to cover his crate at night! Great purchase!

  • Puppy is snoozing happily in her crate

    By on

We brought home an 8 week-old lab puppy a little over a week ago and, from the first night, the puppy adapted well to sleeping in the crate with a few towels and toys in it with her. She goes in willingly and settles down quickly when she is in it. In fact, she went in with the door open just now, and she is snoozing away! The portability is also amazing, as it folds down flat easily for travel.

  • The odor is problem.

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I liked about size, very light . Easy to operate. But... mine had strong vinyl chemical odor. I was recommended that use fabreez and wipe alcohol and put under the sun by customer service. I did.. I guess the fabreez is big mistake. Become more strange odor. My dog Is short muzzle / allergic with many chemical , food. She doesn't want to go in. I got refound. I would recommend that just put it under the sun . No fabreez.
