After reading other reviews for this product I decided to purchase this pet home. I have used a metal crate before for puppy training and saw this one. It is awesome! It is light weight and very easy to open and close. My new puppy is a yellow lab so I don't know how long she will be respectful of the mesh sides as opposed to a metal crate but for a puppy it works great. • Home away from home

We got this soft sided crate for a two week road trip. We have been using it in the car and hotels. I think my dog likes this better than her hard crate at home. Since my dog is used to crates and not a chewer or scratching to get out this is perfect. Love the ease of folding down after I got the trick on how to collapse correctly without pushing on the material. Thanks Chewy for awesome delivery and selling this item.

  • LYLA's cave

We travel with a big scared dog a Great Dane and 2 labs. We travel about 14 hrs often. We purchased the soft crate and it worked perfectly for her to hide in. Made the trip so easy. Also when we get at our destination my older lab loves to sleep in it. Easy setup too. Great all around

  • Best portable kennel I've ever owned!

    By on

This is a great kennel for daily use or for traveling. I use it for hotel stays. It's very light and folds nicely. Durable and pops up in a second with hardly any effort! My GS fits great inside and loves the vent able construction to keep her cool on those not so cool days or nights!

  • Better second time around.

    By on

Funny I bought this crate about 6 months ago and it disappeared, so I had to reorder it, for the exact same price. The first crate was a nice size but flimsy and the corners started to fray almost immediately. The second crate has much tougher fabric and the corners are reinforced well. All in all it's nice and roomy for a tall 50 lb dog and is easy to set up. Odd that the new crate is so much better quality but I'm not complaining.

  • Great Soft Crate!

    By on

This crate is great. It is sturdy and easy to set up. I am still having some problems taking it down. The back metal bars don't always fold as they should, and sometimes I have to push them in, but that is my only complaint. I am hoping that once I get use to closing it more this problem will disappear.

  • You should get it.

This was a great buy. I can carry my pup in one hand and the folded up kennel in the other as if it were a briefcase (it's super light and there's a handle on the side). It's very sturdy; he doesn't knock it over. It's very easy to collapse and then put back upright again. The kennel is also easy to clean and wipe up. I'm a huge fan of the three openings that can all be rolled up out of the way. The only down side is that if you start with a small pup, you can't put a metal divider in it. While he is small, I just fill it with extra things, like his toys and food bowls. I could also put a weighted down container in the back of the crate so it doesn't seem that big to him and then This was a great buy. Also note that I can leave a collar on him without worrying about it accidentally getting caught on a metal wire cage. (rare, but it's happened to my dogs) And yes, they really do ship in two days. It's amazing! … more

  • Great Travel Crate

    By on

This travel crate is just right. We bought the large size for our 45 lb. dog. Our girl sleeps in a crate at home so there were no issues. It is easy to set up, good ventilation, and with a small clip to keep front entrance zippers closed. Fits in a black, large plastic bag with red ties for storing and carrying. Not too heavy to lift. Happily recommend this to others with crate accepting dogs.

  • Works for 9 month old GSD

    By on

We bought this for our 9 month old German Shepherd to use in our tent when camping. We weren't sure if he would destroy it due to the amount of mesh panels but it was perfect! If your dog likes to escape/destroy/chew/scratch their crate they could probably get out. However, the frame and material is sturdy enough that our dog recognized it as a crate and respected the boundary. I was impressed at how sturdy it was, considering how big it is! We ordered the 42" crate and and it was plenty roomy for him (he weighs ~80 lbs). Definitely happy with the purchase.

  • Want to love it, but...

    By on

This travel crate is a great size, and my puppy immediately went inside and started playing, but it arrived damaged, with a hole in the bottom, and it claims to be well constructed for strong puppies, but with typical puppy chewing she broke the zipper in the first five minutes.
