Customer Reviews

Four Paws Heavy Weight Overhead Trolley Exerciser is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it This runner is grrat, especially at this price. The only issue I had during setup was that one of the rubber stoppers wouldn't slide onto the cable, but it's not a necessary piece anyway. It's been working fine and gives my dog lot more room to run and play safely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is just as described. I have a large dog that has broken every exercise trolley we have bought. This is a much heavier gauge than the others. It was very easy to install.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than a clothesline, for sure 1 suggestion: replace the simple clip that connects the lead to the collar with a LOCKING clip that cannot be accidentally opened. [The dog tester objects to this suggestion because he prefers a shot at total freedom] I learned the hard way - with past systems - to add a fail-safe clip to all tie outs. I don't know if he has learned to use his paw or it's an accident, but it happened - until I learned [FWIW, he is a fast moving 54 lb Kelpie] And I mean he would be out for 10 min., not an hour. The (75') cable makes a nice taut line and so far the pulley is holding up well to the explosive bursts of running from the dog tester. I might switch out the 10-foot lead for something a bit longer. OTOH, the short lead doesn't get tangled on anything (which leads to bends in the cable, which then leads to wearing away the plastic, and erosion of the wires at the bends).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The sturdiness of this product was very impressive when we first took it out of the packaging but the metal spring broke almost immediately. The metal spring snapped like a twig when my 65 pound dog pulled on it. Fortunately the dog didn't go too far. We are very pleased with the heavy duty quality of the cables, however, so we have decided to find a stronger way to secure it to the tree.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This works for us! I love the idea of it but my dog is having a little bit of trouble with. She is getting use to it each time she is on it. If I could get her to figure out how to unwound herself from the pole and tree that we have it attached to would be great!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for large dogs as advertised I have had this two months. The plastic has split away from the cable at both ends of the line. The wheel got stuck on one of the white plastic pieces so the dog couldn't move at all. Our dog is 30 pounds (not really a large dog) and in less than 2 months this item is falling apart. Our dog is only on the line for 15 minutes at a time, not like she is out there all day.
