I like to buy these puppy tie outs for my 6lb dog, but the heavy brass clips are much too heavy for her neck. They absolutely are a really nice quality, and the tie out itself is a very nice well coated wire lead, but the clips make it too heavy for my intended use.
I recommend it for a dog 9+ lbs.

So my puppy digs himself out of my fenced in yard pretty much constantly. A friend suggested this tie out line and it is great. He is on it in the yard, and now even when he digs under the fence and "escapes" he is just sitting on the other side of the fence.....
I can use it all over the yard, since he wants to be near me when I am working out there, too.

I have a 14 pound dog and this is perfect for him. Not to heavy and easy for him to roam in safety.

I was hoping they did not tangle from reading other reviews but contantly untangling them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kbard Just what we were needing
We bought this tie-out cable for our new Wheaten Terrier puppy who was 12 lbs when we got him at 8 weeks and plan to use it until we're able to train him at 4 months with the invisible fencing already installed for our other dog. The cable is strong but obviously would not work for a much larger and stronger dog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Buckeyeboy Purchased along with the Aspen Pet Spiral Tie Out Stake
Tie Out Cable is pefect along with the spiral tie out stake. Does not become tangled and our Yorkie is very active. The cable provides the piece of mind that he is enjoying the extra freedom it provides along with knowing he is safe.
