I have been trying to get my finicky eater max to stick to a food without any side effects for some time now. I am not surprised that I am going through this because i went through the same thing with my other yorkie for a year as well and shes eats great now. Unfortunately, after about a week on beef frittata max began licking his paws and scratching more then usual and I had to get him off it. However, I did recommend the product to a coworker of mines and even gave the bag of food i purchase for her to try it with her yorkie and she says her girl Mercy has been gobbling all her food every day. She tells me she wiggles her tail all the time when she hears the bag. I did contact Fromm in regards to the different formulas so I will be trying either Game Bird or Pork&Peas next. The quality of the beef frittata was amazing, it actually smelled good and the kibbles look so refresh. I'm upset he didnt do well but in the mean time Max is eating stella&chewy's freeze dried but I am glad I was able to help someone out with their struggle lol.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Amanda Very good but not the best
I was fostering a 3yo pitbull lab mix and started feeding Acana Free-Run Poultry but his stool was soft for weeks. I spoke to his previous foster who was feeding Fromm Beef Frittata and didn't notice soft stools so thought I'd switch him back and see if it helped. It didn't. Shortly after, I decided to adopt him and started to transition him to Orijen Adult, what I feed my personal dogs. I'm not even done transitioning him yet and his stool already looks healthier - more solid and brown now (it used to be tan). He also LOVED the taste. I normally put the foods next to each other so I can see which they seem to prefer and he enthusiastically gobbled up the Orijen first. One day I made the mistake of putting Orijen in the bowl first with the Fromm on top and he looked at me like "oh man, I have to eat this again?!"
In short, great food, but I recommend considering Orijen instead. It's more expensive but you feed less of it and it has fresh, local ingredients.

Rated 5 out of 5 by katharley Dogs love this!
I switched two of my dogs to the Fromm Grain-Free Beef Frittata Veg Dry Dog Food and both love it, as well as having good results with their pooping! My Pug was not having mushy poops with the other Fromm Chicken brand, but was very gassy all the time, which has stopped since switching him to this grain-free recipe. My Boxer's mushy poops have firmed up. Both were eating Fromm dog food before but it was not grain-free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by damaje The dogs love it!
Just recently transitioned to this food and so far my 3 dogs love it! Even, my finicky 7 year old eats *some* of her food every day....and she never wants to eat anything i put in front of her. My other 2 dogs gobble it down.
the only thing I don't like is that the larger bags don't have a zip closure for preserving the food. Luckily I kept two smaller bags so I can store in those bags and that will help keep it fresh.
The free shipping was pretty quick to my location (4 or 5 days from order to delivery I think).

This is the best grain free dog food out there! I love that you can switch between flavors without stomach or digestive upset. I have been feeding it to my retreivers for seven years and they still beg for it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by 4redheads Stained facial hair
I switched from Blue Buffalo to Fromm after learning that Blue Buffalo's ingredients were not as "pure" as advertised to be. After consuming one bag of Fromm's I noticed the facial hair on both my White Westies became darkly discolored, I assume from a possible "dye" in the Fromm food. The staining does not wash out; it has to grow out which will take considerable time. I will not purchase this product again.

I switch around the protein source but stay with the Fromm line. It's perfect for bulldogs.

by Beth Comme ci, comme ça says Daisy
I had hoped my Havanese would take a liking to the dry food (kibbles) for breakfast but Nope! It would've been easier in the mornings to serve her this & especially when we travel. Some mornings she'll eat it and other days ignor it. Unfortunately, the animal shelter doesn't accept opened bags. I'll con't to serve her the kibbles until its all gone so I don't feel like I wasted my time or money!
