Feeding Instructions

Many factors including age, breed, activity level, and individual metabolism contribute to the need for adjusting portion sizes. Two to four times more food may be required for puppies, gestating dogs, and nursing dogs. Spayed or neutered dogs may require up to 25% less food.

Determining the correct amount of food for your pet depends upon your evaluation of your pet's overall performance on the amount of food consumed along with any other food or treats given.

If feeding canned food only, the average dog requires ¾ oz for each pound of body weight, best fed twice a day.

I've tried all the other top brands, and this one, by far, exceeds the others!!!!...looks and smells like HUMAN GRADE INGREDIENTS, AND U CAN SEE ALL THE INGREDIENTS AND YOU ARE ABLE TO IDENTIFY THEM AS WELL!!!! AND MANUFACTURED HERE IN THE US!!!!!!....I'm a dog rescuer for at least 10 TOP NATIONAL DOG RESCUES ,and i suggest this to ALL ADOPTERS!!!!....I DO MY RESEARCH, AND I KNOW THINGS ABOUT THE DOG FOOD/TREAT INDUSTRY, THAT THE AVERAGE PERSON DOESN'T KNOW, SO IF I'M SAYING THIS IS AN AWESOME FOOD, THEN YOU CAN BELIEVE IT!!!!! IF UR ON THE FENCE ABOUT BUYING THIS BRAND, DON'T BE!!! THEY'VE NEVER HAD A RECALL LIKE OTHERS out THERE!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a fan of this food anymore! The Shredded pork is not like it used to be. I called Fromm and asked all they would say is they were opening there own canning facility. The new facility is suppose to open I believe in spring 2017. They said the recipe had not changed. Thru the change I have not been able to purchase this at my local store ( they did not have). I purchased a case thru Chewy and the food was not like it used to be. Very little Pork. Very liquidly and before I only saw the whole Peas. I'm sure the other veggies ( potatoes, g. beans etc) were in there but i'm thinking maybe they were ground up and i just couldn't see them. My concern is the beans - Geeze I pulled out like 50 beans in one can. There was more in there than my photo shows. If there was that many beans before I didn't see them and they must have been ground up also. That's not good. I wont let my dog eat this anymore. Seriously I love beans and they are good for you and your dog BUT BEANS EVERYDAY. I would be in serious discomfort and can only imagine if I fed ONLY this to my dog what discomfort my dog would be in. The only positive of this was that Chewy.com was great I called them and they immediately gave me a full refund. (PS: I have one small dog and was feeding her mainly another brand of dog food and would offer her a scoop of Fromm Pork daily. Glad it wasn't her main food choice and in a larger quantity).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why a change in recipe? I agree that this used to be an awesome product. What I don't understand is why the change? It used to be pork, thick like shredded meat. Now it's hard to find the the shredded pork! It seems that Fromm has become like other brands and added a bunch of unnecessary fillers. In this case, it's beans...peas, pinto beans, kidney beans, white beans....it's more like chile . Do our dogs really need to eat peas and beans in their food? Evidently not because now our dogs throw up after eating this. Too bad, it used to be a great product. Won't buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Formula Change! less pork, added fish oil Waited 2 months for product to be back in stock. The old formula had a lot more pork in it. The new formula is soupy and has less pork also added fish oil so my dog does not like it at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They changed the formula They changed the formula! Now I have to keep an eye on her to see if she is going to break out! Why can't the just leave things alone. It's hard to find canned food that won't break out my dog! I'm mad!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Runny My dog LOVES Fromm products, but this one does not agree with her, it has hardly any Pork in it! Definitely NOT worth almost $4.00 a can!
