So far, so very good!My toy poodle is prone to struvite crystals, as told to me by my regular vet. I took her to a holistic vet and was given a list of dog foods that they recommend. From that list I chose Fromm, because years ago it was recommended to me by a woman who bred and raised toy poodles. Why I had initially changed foods, I cannot remember, but as of the last couple of weeks, Tillie has been on Fromm, and as of three days ago, she has been on Fromm, exclusively! She LOVES the taste. However, to me, the real test will be whether or not the struvite crystals will be gone when she has her next urinalysis, and her Ph level...I will be SO happy if Fromm is the answer to my prayers for my dog....I was so unhappy with the ingredients in the Hill's U/D recommended to me by my regular vet, so I am so hoping that I didn't make a mistake by changing from Hill's. I feel somewhat confident that I made the right choice after speaking with a very knowledgeable young woman from Chewy and Dana Watkins from Fromm...

Great high quality/low fat addition to dry food! Both of our senior dogs seemed bored with their kibble, even after trying different brands. I was looking for a low fat canned food since one of our dogs has had a few bouts of pancreatitis and found this. It has a 5 star review from Dog Advisor. When I mix it in with their dry food our dogs are now excited about eating again!

Ingredient Change - BewareFromm has added xantham gum to their canned dog food. They also added pinto, kidney and white beans to the shredded chicken entree. The ingredient page has not been updated here. My dog has IBD and can not tolerate xantham or beans. Just FYI - in case your dog has digestive issues or a sensitive stomach. They also removed taurine (helps against seizures). I used to love Fromm, but unfortunately they're not the company they used to be - from 13 oz to 12 oz can size change with no price change, to the recall earlier this year and now removing taurine and adding xantham. That's the last straw for me. I'm very disappointed.

No slop here! May be expensive, but it's high quality food.My dogs LOVE this stuff. When you open the can, it doesn't even look or smell like dog food. It looks like a chicken stew you'd make for dinner in the crock pot. This is no slop. You can see the vegetables in here.
I'd show you a picture, but my dogs gobble it up too quickly to take one.

Smells like roasted chickenOur 3 year old very picky lab mix loved this food. We mix a little in with his dry kibble and he ate with gusto. It's a little pricey, but worth it to see him enjoy eating.

Dogs ate itAs I wrote in my review of this company's shredded beef product, This shredded chicken product is also WAY OVERPRICED ( & "watery" - not much chicken )
$43.31 for 12 cans ( each can is 12 oz - or 3/4 lb )
$3.61 per can
that comes to$4.82 per pound.
When was the last time you spent $4.82 a pound for real chicken?
From my local Supermarket ( ON SALE ):
Tyson Boneless Chicken Breasts - Family Pack 3 lb $1.99/lb ( on sale - 3 lb minimum )
I will be feeding my dogs REAL CHICKEN from now on. NOT THIS CANNED STUFF.
