Don't Dread the Shed
Shedding—it seems like a losing battle that pet parents can never win. It's true that you'll never stop your precious furballs from shedding, but you can reduce the amount of hair that gets all over with the FURminator deShedding Tool. Designed by a professional groomer, this ingenious tool reaches beyond the topcoat to remove loose hair from the undercoat. It gently pulls away the dead hair without hurting your pet's skin or damaging the protective undercoat.
The Gentle Grooming Solution
When you can tell everywhere your pet's been just by the hair trail left behind, it's time for FURminator to step in. Their popular deShedding Tool won't scratch the skin, and you can even use it on the ears and tail. Instead of cutting the undercoat, it only removes the hair that's already loose. With 10-20 minute sessions just once or twice a week, you can reduce matting and bring out the coat's natural shine.
Less Hair, Less Work
FURminator deShedding Tools help you cut down on your vacuuming time by reducing your pets' shedding up to 90%. Believe it or not, the hair that you find all over the house—clinging to the furniture and your clothes, and hiding in corners with its "tumble-hair" buddies is mostly from your pet's undercoat. This hair gets trapped under the topcoat and then sheds pretty much everywhere—unless you have a handy FURminator!
The FURminator Advantage
There are tons of deshedding tools on the market, but the FURminator is recommended by vets and professional groomers worldwide because it gives real results. The stainless steel edge has special compact teeth that push through the topcoat and gently rake away loose hairs. A convenient FURejector button releases the hair from the tool so it doesn't build up on the deShedding edge. Plus, the easy-grip handle is comfortable for longer grooming sessions.

I want to like this brush. I don't know if I am doing it right. I have a beagle basset hound that is shedding like it is her job I am sweeping everyday and there is still hair everywhere. When I use the brush there is a lot of hair that comes off of her but I haven't noticed a decrease around the house. The design is nice and the hair comes off easy with the push cleaner. I will keep trying with it, she won't let me do it for too long but I do think she has been a little less itchy as I notice the brush is able to get to the bottom and gets some dandruff off of her.

In an effort to give my wife more time to go to the beach rather then sweeping up dog hair from our lab, I decided to try the FURminator despite the cost. It's worth every penny!! Twice a week we get gobs of undercoat hair off the dog. Much better than any other brush we have tried. Don't know how it would work on a long haired (collie, golden retriever etc) but it is all is was recommended to be.

I heard these were great, but didn't want to drop 30 bucks on a brush. A friend I was dog sitting for had one, and I was amazed at how much fur I got out of my own dog that really does not shed much. I decided to buy one of my own and I love it so much, I'm literally going to go to all of my neighbors to ask if I can brush their dogs :) Clumps and clumps of fur in my yard (don't use it inside!), and a tremendous feeling of accomplishment! Worth every penny.

My shorthair dogs have been shedding quite a bit as summer gets hotter, I tried other brushes but this one got way more loose hair and left their coats soft. I have a cattle dog mix and corgi mix with double coats which is hard to brush but this does it. On top of the fur it gets, my dogs loved the feel and wanted more. Highly recommed

My Pug, Mushu, sheds a lot twice a year, and up it seems worse this summer. I saw your ad and several recommendations on Facebook so tried the Furminator for short hair. It is fabulous and I my dog loves it. He even falls asleep while I am using it.

I bought the furminator to reduce the amount of shedding from my rat terrier. After just using a few times I noticed that her hair was hardly shedding. It's fun to use with its hair releasing button that cleans hair out of the brush. My dog really loves it too. It has become a bonding time for us. Love the furminator.

Everyone should have one on these-it is amazing how much hair you can pull off your pet! We purchased the medium for our short haired dog and also for our cat- they both love to be groomed with it...very comfortable to hold.

Powerful tool for your pets comfort. You can use this before you go to the groomer. And if your groomer doesn't use one of this ask WHY? This stuff draws out the undercoat better than any other tool I've used.

This thing works great! But thank goodness I read the reviews telling me not to do it inside etc. as I had hair EVERYWHERE! And I brush my dog a lot so I was very surprised to still be getting this much hair off him. Max is a Lab/Chow and his hair is very light and fluffy and flies all over the place. It looks like snow in my yard from clumps of it flying away. I hope the birds will make hairy dog nests out of it. Worth every penny!
