Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy

Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy

Simple Remedy is just what the (doggie) doctor ordered for an upset stomach. It's the traditional recipe for nausea, vomiting and diarrhea that's easy to digest and gentle on the stomach. This formula is recommended by veterinarians as something you can feed your pup in place of his regular meal until he's back to normal. The recipe is simple—just boneless, skinless chicken breast meat and plain white rice. Add some water, and it's ready to serve!

  • Absolutely the best!

    By on

My girls can't get enough of this food!! They are doing so well on it. They trimmed down a little, which the vet is happy about, energy level is great, and healthy poops. One of my dogs has bad food allergies, and does fantastically with this food. Can't rave about it enough! Also, I would like to pay hige comoliments to Chewy, too. When the large bag was out of stock, I called and they made me a great deal to be sure I kept them on their diet without interruption. My customer service person, Mycel, was amazing! Made my day!

  • They can't wait!

    By on

When I start making their food they can't wait to eat it. I have to say that it actually smells very good to me also. In a pinch I might cook it and eat it myself.

  • My dogs LOVE it!

    By on

I have 3 dogs who would free feed on kibble prior to getting Grandma Lucys and not eat very much. Now I have to ration mealtimes because they love it so much. They are healthier and happier, more energetic and playful.

  • Good Price, OK food

    By on

The price for the amount of food your getting is excellent! The food itself doesn't seem bad at all and is wonderful for dogs with allergies, like mine. It has this very weird smell which I can only relate to oatmeal (which I am not a fan of). Even though my dog gobbles it up, he has been pooping 2x more a day on this food! His poos are also filled with what looks like undigested fruits and veggies from this food! Probably will not purchase again but it's surely better than bland ol' kibble any day!

  • My dog goes crazy on this food

    By on

I've tried lots of high quality commercial dog food brands including Orijen & Acana. Grandma Lucy's Venison Freeze-Dried Dog Food smells like real human food and this is the only food that my dog would eat. My maltese is the pickest dog ever. She has never been interested in food until I bought this food for her. This is an expensive food but it's worth it. Whenever I see my dog eats a lot, I get very happy.

  • Great ingredients, my dogs just can't maintain weight

    By on

I love the ingredients and my dogs LOVED it, but I have active medium sized dogs and they lost a lot of weight being on just this food alone. I feed a BARF raw diet, and rotate in dehydrated or freeze dried. I wish they would keep weight on it, because it's hard to find a food that doesn't have legumes/peas.
