Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Food
Combines tasty tidbits of meat, potatoes, carrots, apples, blueberries and cranberries, and some recipes add bananas, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes.
These recipes start out with chicken, rabbit, goat, lamb or fish, plus wholesome chickpeas, a low-glycemic legume that's full of protein, folic acid and fiber.
Tasty chicken, turkey or fish is the main course, and quinoa is added as a gluten-free superfood that offers extra protein and amino acids.
This food helps increase your pet's nutrient intake with superfood ingredients like hemp hearts, coconut, kale and turmeric.
Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Treats
Choose your dog's favorite protein (or sweet potatoes, if that's his thing) with these single-ingredient treats.
Made to match the complete food formulas with five of the same ingredients, so you can serve it as an appetizer.
Bite-sized meatball treats that make satisfying snacks between mealtimes.
Organic, Oven-Baked Treats
These bakery-fresh treats are certified kosher and made from 100% organic, non-GMO ingredients. They're baked into a bear shape and loaded with fruits and vegetables.
Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy
Simple Remedy is just what the (doggie) doctor ordered for an upset stomach. It's the traditional recipe for nausea, vomiting and diarrhea that's easy to digest and gentle on the stomach. This formula is recommended by veterinarians as something you can feed your pup in place of his regular meal until he's back to normal. The recipe is simple—just boneless, skinless chicken breast meat and plain white rice. Add some water, and it's ready to serve!
Nothing Less Than the Best
To make premium pet food, you have to start with the best ingredients. Grandma Lucy's is committed to using GMO-free, human-grade ingredients that meet strict specifications. All ingredients are USDA-inspected and approved, including fresh meat, fruits and veggies from trusted farms. Over 87% is sourced from the US, and Grandma Lucy's maintains personal contact with all growers and suppliers.

With a name like Grandma Lucy's, you'd expect a company that's family-owned and operated—one that you can trust. And that's exactly what you'll find. Since 1999, the Shook family has created pet foods of the same quality and made from the same healthy ingredients as their own food. Their main taste tester was Lucy, an 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel who had no problem turning down food she didn't like. These recipes have passed the Lucy taste test, so you know your pets are sure to love them just as much.
I'm trying to never give my cat's cat treats, I only feed my cats one or two ingredient Foods this is one they love these I throw them they find them they eat them I have even crumbled them up put in bowls.. just a little amount lile 2 or 3 crumbled treats .. added a little water let them sit. Cat's ignored these

I've been trying to find other brands that I can give to my girl because she absolutely loves this stuff, even her brother is on board. This brand though seemed to disappoint. She's ignored them when given. I've got another brand to try so this won't be ordered again.
Cats LIke to Hunt Them!
on Jul 3, 2017
We break these into smaller pieces and toss them across the room and the cats chase them down. It's become a nightly game. Replaces the (high carb) treats they were eating.
Not cost efficient

I purchased these treats because they are a single ingredient. I have 2 Standard Poodles. I would not recommend unless you only have 1 dog and it is a small breed. The chicken is freeze-dried. The consistency is like a puff pastry - very crumbly. My dogs don't even have to chew them, they seems to disintegrate in their mouths. I wound up using them as a food topper because there were few full size pieces, mostly everything were crumbs in the bottom of the bag.

Our cat is very particular about his treats and usually will only eat Pure Bites (which we do buy him). However, it gets really expensive with the amount he wants. We were really happy to find these great chicken treats because you can crumble the large chunks making many small pieces, which he loves. He gets every crumb. We love that they come in the larger bags for a great price. Thank you for these great treats with nothing added.
Not what I thought

We gave this a try for our cats but found out for what ever the reason that they did not care for it very much. Each time I gave them some they would nibble a few bites and then leave it and our cats do not leave treats behind. Tried several times also. It is so hard that I could not even break down some of the larger pieces. This item may be great for dogs but not for our 4 cats.
CATS PREFER CAT MAN DOO OVER GRANDMA

My cats will eat this brand (Grandma Lucy) and I love the ingredients and the fact that there is nothing added like carrageen; however, they do prefer the Cat-Man-Doo Life Essentials freeze dried chicken over this one.
Simply a great treat

one of 3 pet faves

only downside is the price. Everyone would love our dogs' life with what we spend on treats, food, apparel, etc. They are sooo worth it - beloved family members.
If you can afford it, I highly recommend this treat.
