Description

As dogs and cats age, they face increased risk of heart problems, stiffening joints and loss of zest and vigor. These health risks may be reduced by a diet consistently supplemented with readily accessible, long chain omega-3 fatty acids found only in cold water fish oils like e.g. Grizzly Salmon Oil. These omega-3 fatty acids are essential building blocks all dogs and cats need for maintaining a balanced metabolism. Scientific studies also show these fatty acids help maintain the immune system. Starting puppies and kittens out with a healthy balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids is a great way to ensure proper nutrition that can contribute to a long and strong life. Grizzly Salmon Oil supplies a daily supplement rich in EPA and DHA - the right omega-3 fatty acids. Grizzly is a natural way to protect and support the health of your dog and cat!

Key Benefits

  • Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA support general vitality and can help reduce risk of heart problems, stiffening joints, and loss of vigor. DHA has also been shown to benefit the nervous system, eyes, and for maintaining a naturally high fertility status.
  • Rich flavor dogs and cats love and helps keep their skin healthy, which in turn can lead to less itching and shedding.
  • Once opened the oil will last 8-months if refrigerated, or 4-months if not.
  • Suitable for both cats and dogs of all life stages (even though bottle states Dog Food Supplement)
  • Made in the USA!

  • Lab not loving it, but it works

    By on

Hmmm....my lab has shown a reduction in his dry skin since starting this two weeks ago, but he is not all that gung ho about it. He actually backed away from the bottle when I let him sniff it. He still eats his dinner with the oil on it, but that's because he is a lab! I'll keep at it, maybe he'll grow to love it.

  • Healthy Skin & No More Tear Stains

    By on

I purchased Grizzly Salmon Oil due to reviews and our Yorkie has had a terrible time with her skin & itching. Since using the oil, she no longer itches and her skin no longer has build up that used to scab. Also a plus, we have noticed she no longer has tear stains & build up under the inner corners of her eyes. Very soft fur. This is an excellent product.

  • Silky and shiny!

    By on

My 2 rough collies have the most beautiful hair. It is shiny and soft. Anytime anyone pets then they say "OMG they are so soft". I started with this ages ago with my other collies. And there was a huge difference. My dogs also never get dry itchy skin either. I do have my dogs groomed every 6 weeks but that shine and softness doesn't come from being groomed...it is the oil! And remember it is a supplement. It is not going to make your dog shiny in a week or two. You have to use it for a month or so before you will start to see a difference.

  • Grizzly Salmon Oil is a hit

    By on

My 10 mos old Golden Retriever seemed to be getting bored with his food, so I purchased this in hopes that it would make him want to eat his breakfast and he now finishes it. He loves the taste and he is shiny as ever!

  • They won't eat without it!

    By on

This is the second bottle I've purchased. I give it to my two dogs and two cats, they absolutely love it! I purchased it for what it says it does for skin and coat and I have noticed more of a shine to their coat's.

  • Great Product! Picky dog approved! A little messy for long beards.

I have been giving my dog salmon oil as a supplement to her supper since she was a puppy, simply as a healthy omega 3 addition. Therefore, I cannot give a before/after review, but can say overall she is a healthy girl, and her coat is beautiful. It is easy to squirt into my pup's meal. The dose could easily be adjusted by number of pumps based on size of dog or dose desired. And my pup definitely enjoys the taste. My only complaint, which really can't be helped, is that the salmon oil leaves a smelly greasy residue in my pup's beard. She is a Bichon, so she has long fur. I don't imagine this would pose any issues for a short haired dog. I've considered using capsules, but it would take too many capsules to equal the dose of one pump, cost significantly more, and be much more difficult to admister. So all those pros outweigh the con. She gets frequent face washings to deal with this. … more

  • Love this stuff

    By on

My dog loves the taste and her fur is super shiny. I also noticed that before I started using this she would wake up with gunk in her eyes and now nothing. It's smelly, but it's worth it.

  • Helped my little Doxie

    By on

We have been getting this for 3 years now. I have a long haired Doxie, Charlie Brown who scratched and itched constantly from dry skin. I bought this and he get a squirt everyday with his green beans and loves its. We even tried RX meds to no avail. Now we are fine and I also give it to his big brother Snoopy who loves it also. Best find in a long time...Mary and her boys

I have Poms and they get a squirt of this everyday. They have beautiful soft shiny coats. I never see any itchy skin. This is the only brand fish oil I buy.
