I have highly recommended this to many family members and friends who have dogs with sensitive tummies or are picky eaters. We watch carefully what we eat for ourselves, so it only makes sense to feed our mini-schnauzer just as well. We have switched between the Grain-Free Halo Dry Dog Food and the Halo Spots Stew. It seems our little dog likes the Salmon flavor best. It has dehydrated/dried bits of veggies or salmon in it and dried peas. He loves it. He only eats about 1/2-1 c a day and he's very active. I honestly think it's a nutrient rich packed food and does not have all the "filler" like grocery store food brands.
He also has a very sensitive tummy, so Halo has been the best food for him. We also put some of the freeze-dried Halo food as a topper on his Halo Salmon dry dog food as a special treat each day. He loves both! Halo, in my opinion, has always been an excellent product. Chewy has wonderful discounts that help out a lot!

My dog loves Halo brand dog food and in particular their Wild Salmon Recipe. I can find it at my local pet stores, but only in the small 4 pound bag, which makes it very expensive.
I found the 25 pound bag at Chewy.com and placed an order. I was very surprised to find the package on my front porch just two days later.
I like the product, the size bag available, the price, and the sudden service. Chewy.com will be my preferred supplier in the future.

We have a German Shorthaired Pointer with a very sensitive stomach. He was previously eating another popular 'blue' brand at roughly the same price point. The food was working OK for him but not great. We also found it quite difficult to keep weight on him since he is HIGHLY active - runs for 10-12 hours per day. I did research and decided on Halo due to the high quality ingredients. He absolutely LOVES the food - he is actually excited to eat it. He has put on a healthy amount of weight (no longer looks gaunt), his coat looks incredibly shiny, and I can just tell he feels better. We stick with salmon as chicken, beef, or lamb products give him horrible gas (no matter what brand). I highly recommend Halo, it is the absolute best and we have tried at least 10 different all natural ('high end') dog foods and nothing compares to Halo.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SMURFETTE THE COATS LOOK GREAT ON THE DOGS THAT ARE EATING IT.
I HAVE SEVEN DOGS THAT RANGE FROM 3 LBS. TO 120 LBS. SO IT IS HARD TO FIND ONE DRY DOG FOOD THAT ALL OF THEM REALLY ENJOY. NOT ALL OF MY DOGS LIKE THIS FOOD, BUT I HAD SWITCHED FROM A CHICKEN BASED FOOD. SOME OF MY DOGS REALLY LOVED THIS FOOD AND THEIR COATS LOOKED EVEN MORE AWESOME.

We have mixed various dry foods in with real chicken, beef or fish. Normally, the dry dog food is left at the bottom of the bowl. Not this one. All three dogs eat every piece of this food up along with the human food!

It appears that the food is good and smells better than most. My two dogs like it and will eat it. Myla my oldest dog started chewing her feet about three days into it though. I cannot afford to buy two separate foods so I will have to go back to my old faithful for both dogs. I was changing because both dogs take a while before they dive in and it appears they really do not like it. Most important is healthy dogs, right?!
