Rated 2 out of 5 by Leosmom Not my dog's favorite
My almost 2-year-old cockapoo has been eating Ideal Balance for over a year and has never been a very picky eater. I got the Salmon flavored wet food for him to try because he loves tuna and tuna oil when it's mixed with the rest of the food. However, he does not like these cans at all. He goes to his bowl, sniffs, and walks away. He'll leave it in his bowl all day until I get home. I know he prefers his food to be wetter, more like a stew, and the Grain-free options are much drier and more like a pate. I trust the quality but this is not the best choice for my dog :(

My Vet recommended this diet for my dogs. I've tried many different ones, but my dogs absolutely love this! Also, Petsmart said they are going to quit carrying this brand. I'm not sure why. However, Chewy is WAY cheaper!

Trixie went through many brands while trying to find one she liked that was healthier than the canned food I'd given her when she was young. She finally settled on Hill's Ideal Balance Crafted Salmon & Quinoa. But that had gravy, which she can't cope with anymore (she's 16 and confused most of the time). So I was straining off the gravy (and nutrients) so that she could eat the chunks of healthy ingredients. Then I found this, which is essentially the same ingredients but in a more easy-to-eat form: moist, ground salmon and veggies without the gravy. She loves it! I still give her the Crafted Salmon & Quinoa in gravy every other meal, because she likes it so much. I'm so glad Chewy carries this ground version, too!

My dog, Axel, is elderly with a history of a tender stomach and bowels. I started buying Hills from my vet a year ago and he has had no problems with his stomach or bowels since then. Hills Grain-Free Salmon Recipe canned dog food is the only food I will feed him other than the Hills Grain-Free Kibbles. It's wonderful! I now order it from you and it's less expensive than getting it at my vets and I love the free shipping. Will be placing another order very soon.

I have a Chihuahua that will be 17 in a couple of months and has got a little finicky/selective in the foods she will eat. Add to that she needs grain-free dog food. I really appreciate the samples you sent me and have been adding some each day to her dry dog food and she is eating much better know. She's eating much better and if she could would pick out the soft food as she loves it very much. I've had to mix it better to get her to eat both. I'm also fostering a service dog and will be looking into getting her some more treats for her teeth cleaning soon. Thanks again for the samples to try out and the coupons you sent as both are appreciated. I will be sure to add your grain free soft food you put out to my list and let others know about it. We started feeding this to our Pomeranian because it is grain free and our vet recommends Hill's food. Our Pomeranian is a finicky eater, so she does not just eat this right up, like I wish she would. But we've tried various foods and she is just not a big eater, so we feed her this for breakfast and dinner and she eats dry kibble for lunch.
