Bladder stones are collections of mineral crystals that combine together in the urinary tract. They can cause discomfort and lead to more serious problems that require the care of a veterinarian. Because the food your dog eats plays an important role in his or her overall health and well-being, Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians have developed clinical nutrition especially formulated to help support your dog's bladder health. Dogs need the right balance of minerals to maintain good bladder health. Excess minerals can encourage the formation of crystals in the urine, which can lead to the creation of bladder stones.

I was glad to see this "Chicken & Vegetable Stew" option for the c/d Urinary Care formula. I know my Dog loves food andshe has been eating the "Chicken" option for years! However, it just doesn't seem that tasty. This is more like my other dogs Blue Buffalo options. She loves this! So we alternate between the standard chicken and this one. And you can tell she appreciates this one so much more, although, it is a bit more messy and the hair from her ears tends to get in it! Lilly will be 14 years old in July and she is still going strong!
This food is wonderful.

My little Yorke was my foster because she has so many things wrong. She blind in one eye, had no fur or teeth. Her paws were burned and she had crystals in her urine. She will be 14 years old.
I just had give a place that has love and would take care of her. We love having her, she is a part of our family now.
I take her every where I can? She is unable to walk because she has bad knees, so II carry her. She loves the car.
I'm sure I will be ordering more soon.
Thank you for your customer service reps. They are great!
Devouring food again!

After my toy poodle tested positive for crystals in his urine and a UTI, they gave him an antibiotic for 2 weeks to see if it would clear up. His urine tested positive again for crystals and they recommended I put him on a prescription diet. I tried several, including others from Hill's to no avail. He wouldn't eat the dry or wet food. I was getting desperate! Finally, I found the stew and he loved it from Day 1. He loved it so much I had to get him a maze bowl so he would slow down. I now get the 5.5oz can and feed him once a day in the morning so that I don't have to save extra in fridge and then wait for it to warm up before giving it to him. Works like a charm.

This prescription food is one of two choices for my dogs' urinary conditions. They eat maybe once or twice a week, and they've always been like that. They're 14, so I must be doing something right. Any other NORMAL dogs would love this food.
Very, very good

My adorable 13-yr old Bichon rescue (adopted him and his brother when they were 10 yrs old) had emergency Bladder Stone surgery (apparently bladder stone problems is a breed issue)....therefore, after paying for his "river rock" size stone removed to be analyzed by University of MN, it is imperative that he eat food that prevents his body from developing new stones.
Therefore, our vet recommended Hill's Prescription Food.
Thankfully he LOVES it !!

Price is right. The product is right. The service is exceptional.
Chewy.com went out of their way to make sure Rose could get this prescribed food....I really appreciate that. It was easy because Chewy did all the work!

Because of urinary stones my dog has been begrudgingly eating the Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Urinary Care Chicken Flavor Canned Dog Food.
Upon reordering, I noticed the stew and decided to get a case to try.
I was shocked. It looked good even to me! It looks like chicken pot pie filling with rice!
My dog gobbled it so fast he almost made himself ill. Now come dinner time, instead of having to bribe him to eat, he chases me around to try and force a quicker dinner. He loves it.
Jacquie, my mini-poodle loves this.

My vet carried only the chicken-flavor c/d. With two options available at Chewy, I decided to try the stew as well. She eats both, and doesn't appear to have a preference; but the stew smells like people food:)
