Description

Bladder stones are collections of mineral crystals that combine together in the urinary tract. They can cause discomfort and lead to more serious problems that require the care of a veterinarian. Because the food your dog eats plays an important role in his or her overall health and well-being, Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians have developed clinical nutrition especially formulated to help support your dog's bladder health. Dogs need the right balance of minerals to maintain good bladder health. Excess minerals can encourage the formation of crystals in the urine, which can lead to the creation of bladder stones.

  • Dog food look-a-like

    By on

I ordered the chicken vegetable stew. Somehow I selected this instead. Not a good choice for my dog. She really prefers the chicken stew. This was hard to work with and get out of the can. It's very dry, not like the chicken vegetable stew.

I haven' tasted it myself but my dog loves it! I'll take her bark for it! It's a little cheaper than buying at the vet's office.

One of my dogs needed to be on a prescription diet to reduce the crystals in her bladder, yet she would not eat the prescribed diet until we tried this. She is now content to eat her special food and her condition has improved.

  • My dogs can't get enough!

    By on

My 2 chihuahuas love this stuff! I give them each half a can each morning! I love how the food is not really "wet" dog food. The food has a low moisture content and crumbles very easily. It looks like ground beef once it's out of the can and mashed with a fork.

  • Great Deal on Hill's Prescription Diet Food

    By on

Chewy has great prices on Prescription Dog food. I would have bought a bag of the dry Hill's Prescription food had they had the smaller package. Our Multipoo also likes the dry food but the smaller package that we started with lasts 4 months or more.
