Rated 2 out of 5 by seattledoglover helped skin issues but VERY dry and hard to mix
This line has helped both of my retrievers' skin issues resolve so I will continue to use it. They love the taste of this and would eat it all day if allowed to. The problem I have with it is that the formula is SO dry that once you I definitely appreciate that they don't want to cut it with liquid, resulting in less food in the can. However once this is in the fridge overnight, it's as hard as a rock and impossible to mix in to the dry food. It would be great if they could add fat/something creamy that could improve the texture. We love Hill's Prescription on the whole, but will skip this particlar flavor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sedgesmom My dog loved it!
My dog had food allergies and this food was recommended by his vet. My dog was very particular about everything and he took to this food right away. His skin issues really cleared up except for an occasional seasonal allergy breakout (twice a year). The canned food was always consistent something that isn't always true inn other brands and I was able to even bake the can food into treats for him. The nutritional quality of the food is perfect. I would recommend d/d duck to any dog that has food allergies. With all the other foods on the market now, it's hard to find one that actually has the research behind it that the Hill's company has. I trust this company and their foods because I know they put their dollars into research and quality products before advertising. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stefystef Excellent product for dogs with skin problems
My dog has chronic skin problems and her vet put her on Hill's Prescription Diet because the extreme limited ingredients helps to deal with her food allergies and control her weight.
My dog enjoys eating d/d Canine Skin Support and I have seen a different in her skin. Thanks to Hill Prescriptive, I have been able to control her skin problems and her weight went down (she was obese). Yes, it is costly, but providing a healthy and nutritious diet for my dog to keep her skin healthy is more important. Chewy's prices are excellent and much cheaper than going to the vet or other websites.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TresPoodles Our Dogs are doing well with this product
All three of our Poodles have "sensitive" digestive systems. So far this particular formula has been the most successful of the many we have tried. D/D Duck has a pleasant smell and consistency that makes feeding time enjoyable for all of us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Adam Great product for small dog with allergies
Our dog was not able to crunch/chew the dry dog food of this formulae, so the can food is a perfect alternative. He no longer gets yeast infections or other food allergies with this food.
His over all health and energy is better, and far less scratching. This is also my vet's choice for his dog for long term. A complete balanced food.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Colt2013 No value for money
While grateful there is a prescription food option for my dog while she is sick, the food is already so expensive and I repetitively found the cans only 2/3 full of food with large empty craters inside. I have gone through 3 cases and it has been a consistent problem. I am finally able to have her on dry food and am using the DD dry food which I am happier with as I do not feel cheated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ruthbarr71 My English bulldog "Buddy"
I would recommend this dog food to anybody who has skin issues with their dog. Buddy use to break out and have red skin and ear infections often. Since he has been on this food his coat looks good and his ears are so much better!
