  • She had an itch!!

    By on

Miley has been eating Hill's sensitive dog food for about 2 weeks and so far we see a big drop in the amount of scratching she is going through. Hopefully she will not need any other medical treatments for her allergies, time will tell. For now she is doing great!!

  • So far ok for sensitive tummy

    By on

Just started this food a few days but I must say, if you have a smaller dog, these kibble pieces are not small and are very hard. My dog is a 13 pound mixed breed and she is not chewing them, just swallowing. Hill Science please make a smaller kibble or make a softer chew for the smaller dogs. We will keep trying it secondary to the request of our vet but I wish there was something else that would work for her.

Too soon to tell if this food is right for my dog, but Chewy definitely wins 5 stars! Excellent service...They had the prescription approved and the food delivered in the same amount of time as if it was OTC food!

  • I'm glad I found the Salmon that doesn't have a strong odor

    By on

My dog has a very sensitive stomach so this product worked out perfect. He can't have any chicken or beef flavor products. I tried other brands of Salmon and Sweet Potato I have not found one that works for him until this one. I no longer have to worry about him throwing up again.

  • Very high quality food!

    By on

I had to switch my dogs food from Iams Response KO due to Mars buying out Iams and discontinuing the food. I have two large dogs, both with food and skin allergies. My Vet Allergist recommended this food as a replacement for the Iams brand. While it is a little pricey, the dogs love it, and their skin and ears are looking fantastic! Another surprising positive effect, is they have been having less frequent and smaller poops! I guess better food equals less waste too. I think if you are looking for a high quality food for your dog with sensitive skin and stomach, this may be an excellent choice for your pet!

  • Solved a couple of problems

    By on

Kudo's to my new vet for recommending this. My 10 yr old Wheatens appetite has returned, she's excited to eat, has gained weight and her tummy problems have vanished (with probiotics help too). Her coat looks better, and combined with a new allergy shot her itching is gone. Love this - she's a new dog.

Really helps to feed our Terrier Little Guy well with food he consistently enjoys & keeps him healthy while helping him to not have skin outbreaks that were very painful and itchy to him.

  • Great for my dogs digestive issues

    By on

My dog had a history of digestive issues. My vet suggested this product. It is a little pricey and I was skeptical. We have been on it for several years, with no digestive issues at all! Certainly worth a try if your dog suffers from frequent vomiting and diarrhea and all medical tests come back inconclusive. She loves the taste. Chewy offers it at a better price than I have found elsewhere with great customer service.

  • great product

    By on

Our dog had skin allergies since we got her as a puppy. We tried all kinds of foods but nothing helped until we got Hills Prescription Diet. Now she is so much better and she is not itchy anymore. We will definitely keep this product.
