  • Two paws up!

My lab mix, Ashley, became very ill and was hospitalized for six days. She was diagnosed with copper storage disease and hepatitis. While she will never be cured, we are maintaining her liver values well through diet and medication. She missed treats terribly and at her last follow up exam, her internist approved a low sodium and low phosphorus treat... these fit the bill and she is SO happy to have these crunchy yummies!!!

  • My dog loves these treats

    By on

I was very impressed and thankful when these treats arrived so quickly. My 11 year old rottweiler, Tugger, was just diagnosed kidney failure. As a result he can only have food geared towards minimizing harm to him. I give him two each time since they are fairly small.

  • Good product if my dog liked it.

    By on

I like that this product is recommended for dogs diagnosed with kidney disease. Unfortunately, my dog only ate one and refuses to eat any more of them. When I give her one she just drops it on the floor because she doesn't like it. My dog has always been a somewhat of a picky eater and she is losing her appetite a little more now that her disease is progressing. I'm still glad I tried it because you never know if your dog will like something. Plus, since it's still a healthy treat without any prescription-type additives, I can give it to my friends' dogs as a little extra something here and there until my bag is empty.

  • This product has been amazing for our dog's health.

Our seven-year-old Shih-tzu, Chloe, almost died last September. She had to have emergency surgery to remove bladder stones, some of which were deeply lodged in her bladder wall and ureter. I would love to have the opportunity to tell you the details surrounding her surgery. It is incredible what happened and how well she is doing. The food she is on now has been AMAZING for her! She is healthier than ever and SO PLAYFUL! She could truly be a poster dog for this dog food. It has done wonders for her health.

  • Love Chewy.com

    By on

You guys are the best! Love your service, love your prices, and my "babies" are happy you carry their prescription food AND treats. Thank you for making my life easier with carrying Hill's Prescription Dog Food AND Hill's Prescription Diet Dog Treats. After a scare of pancreatitis with my female miniature Schnauzer, I had to put them on this food. They love it, they love the treats, and I love the auto shipping every other month.

  • Great Treats.

My dogs are spoiled. These treats were ordered for my 14 year old Lab as he is on a prescription diet and I needed treats that would work with his food. They smell good even to me. He loves them.

  • Golden loves Hills KD cookies!

    By on

11 yr boy has recently been moved to a protein free diet (mostly protein free). Hill Perscription dog foods have both the food for his meal & treats that meet with our Vet's instructions! Our boy is a notoriously picky eater so I was skeptical of how he was going to take to these changes (no more handouts from the dinner table!). He loves it - thank goodness! The Hills KD treats saved the day because this boy LOVES to nosh on cookies all day long!

  • Diet Food

    By on

More money wasted. I have heard people say dieting is no fun and the food taste awful. Only one of my dogs has kidney problems, however none of my dogs will touch these treats. When I opened the bag, the treats have a medicine smell. I wish Chewy carried more healthy treats. My vet suggested low protein treats no much exist on Chewy.
