Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Digestive Care Chicken & Vegetable Stew Canned Dog Food is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 196.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for dogs with pancreatitis susceptibility My chihuahua is susceptible to pancreatitis, which is usually brought on by ingesting too much fat. Since switching to The Hill's Prescription Diet ID Digestive Care Chicken Stew there's been no problems. Before switching to this I was feeding a very good wet dogfood with 43% meat and no grain, but there was just too much fat in it and as a result my dog developed pancreatitis. That's no fun. He starts puking any food or water up and diarrhea everywhere. Then a hospital stay at the vet for a few days to keep him hydrated. So, if your dog is susceptible to this disease, make sure to check the fat content in any dog food you consider buying for them. I don't think you can go wrong with Hill's prescription dog foods, but you might want to check with your vet as to which formula is best for your dogs specific needs. Too, you'll need your vet to write a prescription that you can take a picture of and text or email or fax to Chewy.com.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Dog Loves It ! We were feeding our dog the Hills ID Digestive Care Low Fat and every time Meal Time came along we would almost have to beg her to eat. She would look up at me as if saying why do I have to eat this. I changed Vets and the new Vet prescribed the Regular Hills ID Digestive Care, not the low Fat, and the Dog can’t wait for meal time; she LIKES it ! When you first open the can you are going to thing that someone cook up a Chicken Stew just for your dog, and believe me the Dog will too ! You can see plenty of meat and vegetables and just enough gravy in the mix. The Dog's coat has the old softness back, and she appear more energetic. I am very please with the results of this change in food to the Hill’s ID Digestive Care Regular Food and the food lives up to the Hill’s reputation of good care for your pet !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One happy dog! Hill's prescription diet i/d digestive care chicken & vegetable stew canned dog food is amazing. Our 9 year old mixed Jack Russel did a complete turn around from being sickly, overweight, and lethargic to being alert, happy, and trim. In a matter of weeks from returning from the doctor ($340.00 vet bill for exam and a shot?) "Pepe Boy" is now acting like a puppy. Ok, maybe not a like a puppy, but he is jumping around like he did years ago. He lost 3 lbs and simply loves this food. We mix this canned food with Natural Planet Organics turkey formula dry food. The dog loves this food and cannot get enough. Of course we limit his intake.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Product is good for dogs with GI problems My dogs absolutely love this product and choose it over my home cooked chicken. !!! My major concern is with all canned dog food. All cans have plastic lining containing Bisphenol A. I never hear of the issue being addressed in dog food although it is a matter of great concern now in humans food. It is particularly recognized as a problem in pregnant women and children. Dogs lives are so short, their bodies relatively small, so the effect could conceivably be large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great taste for my dog My dog has diabetes and getting her to eat so we can give her the insulin twice a day has been a challenge this past year since she's been diagnosed. This food is the first time she jumps for joy when we are feeding her and she gobbles it all up, looking for more. This food has been such a relief to us since she enjoys it so much.
