Regardless where you get the food, its the same food and Bella loves it, has for 3years. Recently went for resupply, they were out, said the truck would be in in the AM, said to come back then, also said food could be ordered on line. Big mistake, never considered getting on line til then. Did the surfing, found Chewy.com, the rest is history. Signed up for auto delivery, easy. Now we get what we need when we need it without the hassle of driving around town, and, at a price that works for us. So far gonna be an auto delivery customer for a good while, and would certainly recommend Chewy.com.

  • Dogs won't know it's diet food

When the vet suggested we try this food for our old man Fooey to lose weight and do just one can a day, I was seriously concerned Fooey would have problems since he's so picky about food. Right up until the diet plan went into place, I was making his food (which in retrospect was likely contributing to his weight gain plus thyroid issues). But no, he loves this stuff! He patiently waits for me to fix his bowl in the morning (and later in the evening) which he never did before. And he eats every bite spending time to lick the bowl clean, a new behavior. I like it because I don't have to cook it and he eats it right up. He's also lost 4 pounds since starting the diet so that part is working When the vet suggested we try this food for our old man Fooey to lose weight and do just one can a day, I was seriously concerned Fooey would have problems since he's so picky about food. I was happy to find an online source that was a bit cheaper than the vet and would deliver on a certain frequency as well. Chewy.com worked with my vet to get a copy of the prescription and also the order arrived well-packed. They use additional cardboard to keep the cans in place which we were able to re-use in the garden for baby plants. Win-win all around! … more

  • Love this product!

My dog Oliver suffered from acute pancreatitis was then told that he had to be placed on a low-fat diet. This Hill prescription dog food was recommended and since he was started on it he just enjoys every meal that he gets It has made him more energized and spunky because his diet no longer consists of any high-fat meal's. Hills product has certainly proven to be the most reliable dog food and cat food that's made. As for Chewy.com carrying the Hill product they have certainly made my dogs life as well as mine so easy and have made this product affordable. Oliver is now a happy camper thank you to both his bed and two Hill and to chewy.

Bella has been a real challenge as her tastes seem to change. She gets bored with a food after sometime. Recently she was diagnosed with acid reflux and was on Royal Canin and just refused to eat it. She had previously been on Hills Id but my vet had changed over to all Royal Canin products. Since putting her back on the Hills, she is eating like there is no tomorrow.....I hope this keeps up. She eats 4 cans a day (big dog) and I am down to one can, I understand you are shipping today, I hope it gets here otherwise, don't know what she will eat. As long as she is happy I am happy.

  • Prescription Only

This is a food I have fed to various senior dogs to aid their aging digestive system. It's kind of dry, but they like it and it is well tolerated. I don't like that Chewy (and others) insist on calling our Vet. It is a Prescription, but I think calling them once should be enough. It gets annoying when the Vet doesn't respond quickly and the order is held up. Chewy is VERY speedy normally.

  • Good Product

We switched from the Hills Prescription Digestive Care to the low fat Digestive Care food. The dogs like it, but it's a bit drier than the regular Digestive Care canned food. Harder to mix in with the dry food we use and harder to hide one of the dog's pills in. Otherwise, a good product like all the Hill's Prescription Diet foods.

  • Very please with this brand

The emergency vet suggested this food because my dog has an extremely sensitive stomach. It was very expensive at the EV. The price on Chewy is so much better. Best part, my Macy is eating and loving it. Praying she will continue and her stomach issues are resolved
