Adjust feeding amounts as necessary to maintain optimal weight. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian. For best results & safety practices: Cover and refrigerate unused portion. Gradually transition to your pets new food over a 7 day period. Split the recommended daily amount into smaller portions and feed throughout the day. Exclusively feed the recommended Prescription Diet dry food, wet food and treats. Keep fresh water available at all times. Have your veterinarian monitor your pets condition.

Transition Instructions

A gradual transition to a new pet food is important to avoid digestive upset. To transition, mix your pet’s current food with the new food. In some cases, your veterinarian may recommend no transition or a shorter transition time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Our Vet approved this for digestive problems Our "big" guy (20 lbs) has always had digestive problems. He frequently gets bouts of reflux followed by diarrhea the following several days. We had him on low grain/fiber and high protein foods since we got him at 9 months of age. After speaking with our vet about the ongoing problem, she told me to try a higher fiber food regimen to see if that at least lessened the problem. So far, it's been working out well for him. In order to have this shipped to us, the vet had to approve it as a prescription first, and she did it within a day of researching it. It seems to be of great quality and he loves it, so we'll keep on it and see how it works out. January 18, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bentley is happier & healthier than ever. The entire online experience is better than any other ordering experience I've had. That's a bonus compared to how happy our dog is with this food. Instead of putting his nose up at chow time he is licking the bowl dry. Thanks January 25, 2017

I love being able to get it when needed tho. Such quick shipment they touch base with the vet....Chewy.com is the way to go for any and all pet needs ....I no longer go from pet store to pet store for all my needs it's a one stop shop.....Love chewy.com January 11, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for sensitive stomach Standard Poodle has been on RC GI, and other premium sensitive stomach foods. For two months, we have had no problems. This is mixed with the dry kibble. January 13, 2017
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too Dry fo canned My dogs ate this for a few days then they started to turn away from it. It's very dry. I nuke it and add warm water to it. But it still doesn't entice them. I think this one can be improved a great deal. January 12, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stomach issues? My dog, Layla, has stomach issues. This is the first food I've found that has almost eliminated her gas and her stools are a normal consistentacy now. Plus, she's lost a couple pounds which is great because she got a lil chubby! She also loves the food and she's usually a picky eater and gets bored easily. I was very surprised. January 9, 2017
