Description

Dental care for your pet may be more important than you think. The accumulation of bacteria laden plaque above the gumline can lead to long term oral health issues. Recent studies have demonstrated there is an association between oral health issues and systemic general health issues affecting the kidney, heart and metabolic systems.

Key Benefits

  • Unique kibble shape and size cleans the tooth surface by scrubbing away laden plaque in the mouth to promote systemic health
  • Special fiber matrix technology is clinically proven to reduce plaque, stain and tartar buildup
  • Fights bacteria-laden plaque, reduces bad breath, and promotes overall health
  • Added antioxidants to control cell oxidation and promote a healthy immune system
  • Awarded the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) Seal of Acceptance for helping reduce both plaque and tartar accumulation

  • My dogs love this kibble!

    By on

I feed my dogs twice a day. Due to the cost, I do morning feed as their regular food and evening is this Dental Care. I also use it as a treat and no longer buy anything else. The dogs go nuts over these so they definitely must taste good! One dog is young and this seems to keep her teeth healthy. The other dog already had bad teeth. This food can't reverse her problems but definitely helps from getting worse. Highly recommend.

  • Our pup loves this

    By on

We have a 60 lb boxer with a lot dental and gum issues and our vet prescribed this. She isn't that food driven but LOVES this stuff and seems to thinks its a treat, which makes things much easier. She has to chew on the pieces for a while so hopefully it is helping, especially with her back teeth. Also, she has a weak stomach and this has helped a lot as well with pretty much all of her GI issues. Worth the money!

  • It works on teeth, but I wish the food quality were better.

    By on

It's essentially rice, corn, and fat. Especially concerning is the rice, which known to be high in arsenic (that applies to humans too), and arsenic is a known carcinogen. Corn's just a filler, and probably GMO at that, as it's not organic. I'd love to see a healthy food that offers the same mechanical tooth cleaning properties, but I just haven't found one. And for our little dog, none of those supposed tooth cleaning treats do anything at all but fill her belly - no dental improvement whatsoever.

  • Super Fast Shipping!

    By on

This is a product we have happily used for some time. I decided to try ordering from Chewy to save trips to the local chain pet supply store, but most of all Chewy's prices were so much better. I am so glad I did! I ordered enough of each product and went ahead and set it up for Autoship. I ordered one morning and by the next afternoon it was on my porch!! Very impressed with Chewy.com!

  • Easy as could be

    By on

Doctor recommended this after my 9 yo baby's teeth cleaning-- he has always had clean beautiful teeth, but has never been much of a chewer & even less as he gets older-- he likes & even mooches this-- best of all it's an easy addition to brushing his teeth! Sorry delivery person, but another plus was not having to lug the 25lb bag home & chewy called the doctor's office to get the prescription filled (I don't understand why it's only by prescription though)-- we use it as treats so about 6-8 pieces day especially since we found the cats where way to interested in trying to eat & play with the huge pieces.

  • Gets the job done

    By on

Back teeth are hard to clean but having used this product on my dog for years her back teeth and gums are in excellent condition. She gets them as treats. She is a small dog but we get the larger sizes and she chews every bit. An outstanding product, good ingredients, no additives, no sugar and she was raised on them.

  • Beats brushing

We've fed our Labs TD since they were pups and the vets always comments on how cleannthere teeth are. We give them a few of the large bits each day as "tooth treats", which they love. We feed them other food for meals.

  • My dogs love them!

I use this dog food as treats for my 4 big rescue dogs. Dr. Thom uses these in the exam rooms and my dogs always like them, so I got a R/X from him and am using them now!

  • Awesome Product

    By on

Our vet recommended this for our greyhounds. We have only been using it for a couple of weeks. His teeth are whiter, gums healthier. His breath is better too! I am really surprised and pleased. We give it with meals but not a meal quantity of it.

  • Really cleans teeth

    By on

Duke and Trixie love this. Just put a few in their meals and it keeps us from having to do teeth cleaning at the vet. You can even use them for treats.
