  • Best food for sensitive stomachs/digestive problems.

    By on

My last pitbull had Irritable Bowel Disease and my vet recommended W/D...HUGE difference in her poop quality. She went from all diarrhea to mostly normal poops. She lived a long, happy 15 years and--sadly--died earlier this year. My NEW pitbull--another shelter rescue--had sort of loose poops so I asked my vet if I could put him on W/D as well. Once again, W/D has helped immensely. My vet said if he were a dog he would want W/D because he thinks it's one of the best foods. Normally I am all about holistic and organic but nothing has worked better for getting the digestive tract functioning properly in both my dogs.

  • Heaven Sent!

    By on

This food has been a life saver for us!! Our senior Boston Terrier was had watery stools (baby wipe booty time after ever potty). He was also bloated and gassy (toxic fumes). I heard about W/D from friends, and I figured it was worth a try. I'm so glad we switched. He is trimmer, non-toxic with a clean booty to boot!! We decided to switch our chunky (106 lb) Weimaraner to W/D too. Jackpot!! He's lost 3lbs and has more energy, and we are hooked!!

Our small Sheltie (13lbs) -8 yrs old - had seizures every couple of months since we got him @ 8 months old. It seemed to be a sugar problem per the vet. We started feeding him this food on the advice of our vet, along with the small canned version, & it's been over 2 yrs since he's had a seizure !!!

  • Puppy with persistent diarrhea

    By on

This diet was recommended by an internal medicine specialist for my French Bulldog puppy with persistent diarrhea. She was tested for all types of infectious diarrhea, parasites and obstruction/intussusception was ruled out. We were feeding hypoallergenic diet with Tylan powder and probiotic without improvement of diarrhea. Three days on this food and her stools were formed. I will say that she has a lot of stool with the amount of fiber but they are formed and easy to pick up. I will keep her on this food!!!

  • Hill's Prescription Diet

    By on

This food was a god send for my aging standard poodle. Rather than put him on flagyl (anti-diarrhea medicine) for the rest of his life, our vet said lets "try" a really high fiber diet. We did and his poop is perfect... and he really likes the food! Ironically he is tall and thin, and I was afraid that a weight management food might cause him to lose weight. It has not. (I do mix this food with Hill's I/D Prescription dry food just to help his digestive system.) I am thrilled... (He is 13 yrs. old, and still running agility!)

  • Can't get enough!!!!

    By on

I was nervous about switching my dogs food because he has a sensitive tummy. We were planning to go gradually so he can adjust. The first Day I served him he ate all the new food and spit out the old food. Messy but funny! From then on it's only been WD. My dog has a happy tummy and he is losing weight & He looks great. Would highly recommend whatever your circumstance! Also bought the wet food but haven't tried it yet .

  • First Time & Totally Datisfied

    By on

This was my first time ordering my dogs food from Chewy. The whole ordering process went great and the dog food was received in 3 days including having getting approval from our Vet as this is a prescription dog food. I did contact customer service for assistance and they were very friendly and helpful. Will definately be ordering from Chewy again.

  • No seizures while on this diet.

    By on

My dog is blind, insulin dependent diabetic, has Cushings disease and is geriatric. Last year he began having seizures. After a few days in the hospital, blood panels being done, his vet recommended Science Diet W/D. My dog eats both the canned and dry food. He hasn't had a seizure since switching to this diet and his Greenies.

My Lucky is 14 yrs old and ended up with being diabetic due to her weight (from to many treats) I was afraid changing her food she would turn her nose up but she loved this from the start!! Great price saved almost $20 from what my vet wanted!!

  • Labrador says MMMMMM!

    By on

My Labrador was on "i/d" for a while and she had probably the worst bowel movements I've ever seen. So, with discretion from our veterinarian, we swapped her to "w/d" and she is completely back to normal. Lots of probiotics, antioxidants and fiber for your furry friend. It has low calories so if your dog exercises, feed them a little more than normal to make sure they are getting the best nutrition. Also, be mindful your pup may poop three or four times a day because of the high fiber. Marley has acid reflux so this food was the best choice for her - no vomiting, no loose stools. Happy eating!
