Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Original Skin/Food Sensitivities Dry Dog Food is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 303.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this product I have two purebred Boxer's one female and one male. I also have a ten year old small dog. They are both about two year's old now. My male started showing signs of skin issues and extremely itching as well as not being able to keep anything down when he was around four months. We went to the vet and tried many different diets with none working. The vet suggested that I try the ZD prescription dog food. My male boxer loved it and his conditions slowly went away. My female boxer and little dog also enjoyed it. All three are now on this food. Between all three of them I go though about a 25lb bag every two weeks. They all have beautiful soft coats, there in perfect weight, they all have beautiful teeth and strong bones. Its a little pricey but it's well worth it. Like I said my male boxer has had a huge change in his skin and health because of this food. I would recommend it to anyone. We ourselves eat well no matter the cost why should our pets have anything less they are part of our family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from z/d has really helped my terrier mix My terrier mix used to have severe allergy problems during her first year of life, which caused unstoppable scratching and skin problems. We were forced to give her steroids shots a few times, which is not good for their overall health. She was constantly taking Benadryl, poor angel. As she grew out of 'puppyhood', the vet suggested we tried changing her diet to z/d to see if her condition would improve. Her condition improved significantly and fairly quickly. She has been on this food for about 3 years now. She still has some environmental allergies, mostly in the spring, but the worse has definitely passed. About a year ago we got a new pup who didn't have the same allergies problems has her, but he refused to eat his regular food and always always preferred hers so... both of them are on this z/d food now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great allergy food! Hill's z/d is the only food our cocker spaniel will eat that helps his food allergies. Before this diet, we were constantly making trips to the vet. Also super fast delivery, thanks chewy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good results so far!! My 10 month old boxer has had soft bloody stools since he was small. After so many tests at the vet, different foods, probiotics, home cooked meals, medications nothing would help him, my vet recommend trying this food to see if maybe he had a protein allergy. After a week of mixing this with his other prescription food he is now only on this and his stools are firming up without blood. He loves it and gobbles it up faster then any other food we have tried. The food is pricey but if it helps him it's worth it. This is the food to try for any allergy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from stopped the scratching! we have 2 dogs: chow and chow/shepherd mix. the chow scratched like crazy and the mix would scratch pretty good as well from natural balance dry. our vet recommended this food and fairly quick both slowed down on the scratching and now about 3 weeks on and both just do the normal random scratching that most dogs do. it does cost a bit more but the scratching made me crazy...I can just imagine what they felt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pitbull skin issues We have had our pitbull on the same food for years. Then all of a sudden she started getting hives and losing hair. After 6 months and 1000's of $ we were introduced to this food by her vet. One months later she's back to her normal self and healthy coat! No hives!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent This product has been really good for my Great Dane. She was on ground beef and rice for a couple of years. I had tried several different foods with no success. Now she eats canned z/d and dry z/d and doesn't have as many sick days.
