  • Worry free dog food

Our English Bulldog has a sensitive stomach...we tried several dog foods and cleaned up several messes :( We were always having to plan trips 30 miles away to pick up her food or pay $4 a can for it. Chewy.com has saved us tons of money and Dixie's food is delivered on time every 4 weeks. I highly recommend!!

  • so far so good. My big 93 lb weimerdoodle seems to like this wet food.

I have changed his food to sensitive stomach, from Rachael Ray wet food. This must be the pickest pooch in the world. Right now he will eat this for us.

  • Dog does not like it.

    By on

I bought this for my one and half years old GSD since it says it is good for sensitive stomach & skin. I opened it with high expectation and thought my dog would love it. However, it smells like a can of mesh potato and starch... No smell of salmon at all(does not look like the picture showed on the website either). I would not eat it myself, let alone my picky dog- he smelled it for a second and walked away. I had to mix some other meat or treat to let my dog finish it. Also, they are sold in a 12-can package. So if your dog does not like it, you have 11 cans left in the fridge forever...I do not recommend this to you unless you made sure your dog likes it.

  • Boxer's sensitive stomach

    By on

My boxer experiences upset stomach and gas so I tried this sensitive stomach and skin food. So far so good. I am mixing it with his regular beef and barley canned dog food, about half and half.

  • My dog eats every crumb

We just adopted a senior dog - not sure of his exact age - somewhere between 11 and 13. He had major hernia surgery before we adopted him and we were told to keep him on a diet for sensitive stomachs. He came with a couple cans of food which he would only eat if he were really hungry. The vet suggested we try Hills and we've been very pleased. Hunter can't wait for his food and polishes the bowl (we use a mix of wet food and the Hill's sensitive stomach dry food)

  • Dogs love it, thick texture

    By on

Just trying this product for the first time as a wet food to mix with a salmon based dry food. It is a very dense wet food but when I mix it with cooked sweet potatoes and a little chicken broth it is much easier to mix with the dry food. Dogs like it and am hopeful that it will help our YorkiePoo with her skin issues and our older bichon with her tummy issues that come along with aging.

  • Dogs like it.

Had to start adding canned food for one of my dogs who suffers from acid reflux. This food is packed tight with little moisture. I add a little water to some kibble, then add this. My dogs have always done best on limited ingredient/sensitive stomach food. They are doing fine with this and eat it right up.

  • Great choice!

    By on

My one dog who has a particularly sensitive gut gets very ill on foods that do not agree with him (worst case scenario), or tends to have very bad gas on some foods which only disagree mildly with him (mediocre scenario). Hill's Science Diet "Sensitive" has allowed me to feed my dog a food he gets excited about without creating any adverse reaction (best case scenario)! I would definitely recommend trying this food if you have a dog in similar circumstances.
