  • Puppy loves it!

    By on

Was not sure about this food when I opened the bag as the pieces were so much larger than what she was used to. She gobbled it up, however, and loved it. She had previous trouble with throwing her food back up due to eating too fast and not really chewing. The larger pieces force her to chew each piece, thus slowing down her intake rate. Haven’t had that problem since she started this dog food. Is a good, complete, high-quality dog food and the less costly of the premium brands. I’ll also add that I love Chewy! No more lugging 35 lb bags of dog food from the store and free shipping! Doesn’t get any better than that!

  • Large Bites

    By on

We have two pit puppies, going on six months and the size of the food was too large from them. They seemed to like the food, but got tired of chewing and would sit chopping for awhile. I liked that it slowed their eating a bit, but we switched to regular Hill Science puppy food. So just note, larger kibble size.

  • Best food for your dog!

    By on

We brought our puppy home at 10 weeks. Every brand of dog food we tried on her made her stomach upset, she was constantly puking and having diarrhea. Ever since we started using this brand we haven't had any complications and WE LOVE IT! Would highly recommend!

  • Hills pet food

I’ve always recommended Hills to everyone. I had a Rottweiler live until 15 on Hills food. We recently got two new White Retrievers and got them weaned off the food the breeder was feeding. They love it and have less and firmer stools. Highly recommend!

  • Great food. Great price.

I adopted my pup from our local humane society and was sent home With a sample bag, and while the kibbles felt as if they were as big as her head, she loves it. Filling. Healthy. Really helps refuel her for the next poop she needs to take on my floor.

  • Great Product

    By on

I switched my Goldendoddle from Puppy Chow to Science Diet. His stools over the course of 1wk changed from being somewhat loose to more firm. My puppy is not as "gassy." SD is a little easier for him to digest. He's growing quicker now and his coat looks great. The price is higher than other foods. However, a $5 coupon comes in the bag from Hills.

  • Reasonably priced

    By on

I bought the Puppy Large Breed Science Diet with the suggestion of mixing in the Adult Sensitive Stomach Science Diet. I don't know if mixing the two foods together was the problem, but our German Shepherd got diarrhea from trying to switch her to this food. She also had larger stools on this food. We went back to her Hill's I/D canned food and her stools become smaller and solid again.

  • Hills puppy

I found this food very unsatisfactory for my puppy. I'm a tech and I believe strongly in science diet for my older pets but the kibble was way to big even for my golden retriever puppy. She had no interest in this food what so ever.

I just changed to this puppy food so it's too soon to know how she does on it. My vet recommended this food so I'm hoping it'll be good for her.
