  • Awesome Chew!!

    By on

Izzie's is a 95lb, aggressive chewing, sweeter than sugar German Shepherd!! She can chew through bully sticks, beef trachea, pig ears, cow huffs, in a matter of minutes. Elk Antlers are pretty much the only thing that takes more than 10 minutes to eat. But then we have to make sure she doesn't make shards of antler to swallow or for us to step on in our bare feet. This Himalayan Yak Chew seems to be a winner!! No yucky smell, no yucky oily mess, no sharp shards!!! And the absolute best part, she's been chewing on this for over an hour and has barely gnawed off the end of the Chew!! No yucky stuff added to this treat and no yucky stuff left behind!!! Thank you!! Finally!!

  • Excellent product

Himalayan chew is beyond awsome My dog is 65 lbs Catahoula/Pit and the chew last 4 days. With good hrs of chew each day. Did not break into sharp pieces. I also followed directions regard to end piece. When it became about inch in a half; microwaved it. Turned into a crunchy puffy treat. 45 sec then 10 sec intervals. She loved that treat as well. Another 10 mins of yummi treat. I will be buying more of these. Price is worth the product.

  • Dog enjoys them

    By on

We have ordered these several times for our 8 month old Daniff puppy. First warning they stink when you microwave them, but she likes them so I'll get over it. Our puppy is an aggressive chewer and bully sticks are gone in minutes. These are supposed to be long lasting but our puppy devours them in just over an hour. Will still order on occasion but we're going to look for something else that will last longer.

  • Awesome, but dont expect it to last

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

If you have a heavy chewer and want something that will last, this isn't the right treat. However you can't get any more pure than cheese! My dog has an extremely sensitive stomach but did great with this. He likes to carry it around more than he chews it so its lasted a while, but when he starts chewing it goes quickly. Will be purchasing again because it helps clean his teeh.

  • always happy

My pup devours these treats! They make a little mess, but she usually goes back and picks up after herself by eating whatever little pieces that may have broken off. If she doesn't, they can easily be picked or vacuumed up. I do not noticed any smell from these either..which is a big plus in my book!

  • Saw this on Shark Tank

    By on

I was watching an episode of Shark Tank and was interested in trying it out. We have a Lab who is a very very strong chewer and makes mince meat of everything I give him in 5 minutes. This lasts for days and he loves it! When your dog gets to the end of it, you throw it in the microwave for a couple of seconds and it puffs up into a cheese ball. I felt confident in ordering this because Chewy carried it.

  • great product

My dog has lots of toys and bones to chew etc. But he loves these. He carries it around and hides it even though he is the only dog in the house. I don't know what it is except my neighbor said it was safe and he loves it so I always have a spare in the closet. The only down size is if it is dropped on a tile floor it will break, but it is still good.

  • Wonderful product!

    By on

I have four dogs and I've never been able to find a chew that last longer thank 10 minutes. My most aggressive chewer is an 85 pound male donor that can chew up bully sticks in minutes. I let him chew on this for 45 minutes and he only had 1/3 of it gone. So I took it and saved it for a later day. My older female dobie and young pup had theirs just as long but had hardly made a dent in them. Seriously, there were only scratches. So, the longevity of these will depend on the size and chewing power of your dog.

  • A chew that lasts

    By on

This is the only chew that I've come across that lasts longer than 5 minutes with my dog. Due to its natural ingredients and durability, I never have to worry about my pup swallowing a large piece or sharp edges. If it does happen to break into pieces (I've accidentally dropped it before) you can microwave the pieces so they expand into edible chews. I will add that when my dog was very young, she was not really interested in the chew unless it was microwaved and "fluffed up". Now she's 7 months old and can't get enough of them as is. Great product!

  • Better than rawhide chews.

    By on

I got this chew treat for my GSP...age 5 (?) She was hesitant at first, but after she started, she chewed on it for about one and half hours.....got it about half gone. When I give it to her again, I will be sure to monitor her so she doesn't get it small enough to swallow and choke or cause a blockage. I do like they way they have microwave directions for the last small piece so it can all be consumed. It is the only chew I will get for her...I will also get her a bigger size. This one was a medium for dogs up to 55 lbs....she weighs 70#.... Hoping that will last a little longer. They are more costly, but I believe they are better for my dog.
