Himalayan Dog Chew is a very hard chew. Although cheese, it is sometimes popularly referred to as Concrete, Glass, Wood and Metal. Depending on the size and eating habits of the dog, this is a very long-lasting dog chew. Dogs must work the end of the treat for hours, softening it with their mouths before small parts of it can be slowly scraped off.

Himalayan Dog Chew is 100% natural with no preservatives. It is an authentic type of cheese eaten by the people of the Himalayas. When you give this chew to your dog, you know that you are providing them with hours of high quality eating entertainment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great chew makes my standard poodle happy I had tried other "natural" chews that were healthy but they were just too hard and she would give up on them and I was afraid she would break a tooth. Others were not healthy, I did not like how they were processed. I was sooo happy to discover the Himalayan Dog Chew. She loves it. She weighs about 42 pounds and has a long narrow snout/muzzel. The 55 lb size is a perfect fit. She can hold it upright in her paws and chew on the end. She will turn her head sideways and use her back teeth. Helps to keep them clean. I use it as a soon after dinner treat and she will happily chew for a long time. As soon as she stops I pick it up and put it away. That way it is a special treat. I did learn that you cannot toss it across the ceramic tile floor - it will break. I forgot it wasn't a real bone. But I followed the directions and microwaved the broken halves. Thanks for such a wonderful product. I will order more! October 22, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Long-lasting chew, can also make "popcorn" bites from leftovers My dog loved the first couple of these, and they lasted days when other chews lasted mere hours. My pup is notoriously-picky and got tired of them after the first ones, but her friends give them four paws up and were happy to take them off her hands. They won't last as long if your dog is big enough to get them between their molars and crunch pieces off, but mine was never that motivated. They're like a really, really dense and hard peanut brittle, so judge your dog's chewing style and how motivated they are to finish a chew before expecting these to last "forever". My favorite part, and very weirdly fun, is smashing them with a hammer and microwaving them! They puff up and turn into crunchy, biscuit-like bits. I try to get them into small marble-size chunks, and give them around 2 minutes in the microwave. They'll puff up before your eyes, sort of like slow-motion popcorn. Stop the microwave when they stop expanding or they will scorch. They will be VERY HOT, be careful handling them and wait until they cool before giving them to your pet. September 24, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by These are great but came broken When the dogs chew it, shards don't come off and it doesn't get soggy. Instead it's like little pencil shavings they scrape off and eat (picture it being a ridiculously hard crayon they're sharpening). I feel like this makes it safer than bones/antlers and way cleaner than rawhide and bully sticks. I can't notice any smell which is a huge plus. When it gets down to a chunk that I fear my power chewer might swallow, I love that I can smash it with a hammer and put it in the microwave to make little popcorns instead throwing it out like I have to do with antlers. Took away one star because I purchased a large but it came broken in half, the smaller piece is difficult for my dog to hold up so I'll need to microwave them sooner than I wanted to. I could return it but the dogs don't want to give it back :) October 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great, but short lasting My dog went nuts over this treat when I gave it to him. He would literally chew it for hours at a time. My only real complaint is that it doesn't last very long for what you pay for it. My dog chewed it down to nothing in about a week. It can also be kind of messy. My suggestion would be to only give a dog this treat intermittently to make it last longer and to also keep the house free of crumbs! October 20, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by good product for the right dog I bought 2 as I have 2 german shepherds. One loves it, the other not so much. My male keeps his to carry around just so my female cannot have it. I should aso say that my male does not like chewing much so I was not surprised. I will buy it again for my female. October 23, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Chew! My 70 lb pitbull LOVES these! These chews last a couple of weeks with an avid chewer! They are around $21 in store but they are half the price on Chewy!! October 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Teething Puppies Both of my dogs chewed these especially when they were teething. The puppy can only scrape her teeth on them leaving adorable little tooth marks. My adult dog also loved this while she was a puppy too, now she can bite tiny chunks off and still enjoys. These last an incredibly long time even with 2 dogs chewing on them. They last longer than bully sticks. They kind of have a smoky cheese smell to them that is not very strong at all. October 16, 2016
