Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 140 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by good for easily bored dogs Our shepherd mix loves the JW hollee balls. We normally have two of those in different sizes (for different purposes) at a time. I decided to give this ball a try because after a month and a half of the same squeaker, hollee ball, rope, nylabone toy rotation I felt like she was become disinterested in them and needed something new and different. This was a hit right off the bat. The rubber seems more durable than the hollee ball. This one appears to be thicker in some respects (width is wider, but thickness is about the same as a small hollee ball). The plastic hollow ball in the inside did not stay in a true ball shape for long, but I think the fact that it now rolls and moves in the ball and makes different noises are interesting to her. Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible My Weimaraner who is not a heavy chewer broke the rubber in 5 minutes. Great concept, poor execution. October 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Puppy Loves It My Chihuahua loves the crackle ball. I would love it even more if it had been the color I ordered. I don't recall whether or not color substitutions were noted when I ordered but was disappointed that the ball was green and not the expected baby blue. October 21, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Fit for Large Dogs This item popped up as a reccomendation for "Giant Breeds". My Rottie/Dane mix chewed through it in less than a day. The pink bits have been gathered and thrown away, but we're not sure where the crinkle plastic from inside all got away to. Would say it's more fit for dogs who like playing with balls rather than chewing. The husky quite enjoyed chasing it across the floor and pouncing on it. October 15, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Would not recommend for dogs who chew I purchased a large of this toy for my 1 year old golden retriever who likes to chew. She thought it was great but managed to tear the rubber cage apart within about 10 minutes. I had to take it away because I was afraid she'd eat the little pieces she tore off. October 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Big Fan She loves plastic water bottles so I bought this to see if she would like it. This product was a great purchase! October 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super fun! He likes this toy, because he has always liked water bottles that crinkle. He destroys the water bottles in minutes so we had to stop giving them to him, but I found this and he loves it! Great toy and very well made. JW toys are the best for strong jawed dogs. They are very durable and last a long time. October 12, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a good toy for strong jawed dogs I bought this for my 9 month old lab thinking it would solve the ball fetish and the include noise from the plastic inside. She had it apart in 10 minutes and I found her chewing the plastic... It might be fine for a small dog. October 8, 2016
