  • Totally AWESOME toy!!!

We have a 4 year old Blue Heeler (Echo) and a 12 week old Shiba Ina (Jarvis). This is the only toy that Echo has been unable to totally destroy in a matter of minutes. This is the 4th ball that we have purchashed. Echo is able to pop the crackle part of this ball whithin hours (which I then remove with pliers) but the rubber part of the ball usually last about a year. Echo chews on this ball on a daily basis ( he is very ball focused)! This ball is only used as an inside toy. Echo has tennis balls for outside use. We recently bought a smaller version of this ball for our Shiba Inu puppy (Jarvis) and he just loves this ball too. I would highly recommend this ball to anyone that has an We have a 4 year old Blue Heeler (Echo) and a 12 week old Shiba Ina (Jarvis). • Likes the sound

We have a very heavy chewer, even Kong’s don’t last! I read the reviews before I bought this so I knew the chance of our dog “puncturing” the inside crackle ball would happen fairly quickly. Which it did - about half a day. But he still loves it and it still makes somewhat of the crackle bottle sound as he chews on it. It’s entertaining for him. The outside ball has held up well so far. You do need to monitor the toy if you have a heavy chewer. The crackle ball when punctured will spit out the plug so you need to make sure you throw that away. It’s about the size of a nickel and milky in color. I will buy another 1 after this one gets destroyed because it’s entertaining for him.

  • Didn't last long

My dog's a power chewer, I know, but I did not expect this ball to have as short of a lifespan as it did. We got it for him because as a puppy, he liked to chew on empty water bottles for the sound, and we figured this was a good, dog-safe alternative for that. The rubber ball itself is quite durable, but the plastic water bottle material inside pretty much became pointless after 10 minutes of chewing, when my dog had compressed it into a dense plastic mass that rattled uselessly inside of the rubber ball.

  • Great chew toy

    By on

My Cairn Terrier puppy absolutely loves these toys. We have had both the small and large sizes. Although he is a small dog the larger size worked out much better. If your dog loves the crackling noise the water bottle material makes inside, the larger ball lasts better. Our dog had the small one crushed inside in 15 minutes, the cracklings sound in the larger ball lasts much longer. Great for serious chewers.

  • Durable Way to get Crackle

    By on

Our dog LOVED the cracklehead plush toy but tore it to bits within a day. This ball is much more durable and delivers crackle. Our dog has yet to learn to love balls and rubber toys so she is somewhat indifferent to the ball when she has plush toys available. When choosing between balls, she loves this one. She is not a destructive chewer so we cannot say much about the durability of the ball.

  • Dogs not really interested

    By on

I thought my dogs would love this toy because of the noise and they love to grab an empty water bottle and crunch it . This one just sits around and I try to engage them to play with it but they don't seem too interested. For this reason I cannot say if the toy can last since it hasn't been chewed on too much. Maybe once the other toys have died out they might play with it.

  • not interested

She had this exact ball (smaller of course) as a puppy and LOVED it. She also loves water bottles and tennis balls so I figured this would be a hit. Nope, she hasn't played with it since the day she got it and that was for maybe 5 seconds. Can't say too much about because she hasn't played with it enough to know the durability. Luckily it was cheap

  • Good, not great

    By on

My dog actually loves this ball - but the plastic in the middle became flat and crushed within 15 minutes. She still likes it and it still provides a little bit of that crackle sound even flattened but was a little disappointed it didn’t last longer. Wouldn’t consider my pup a ‘power chewer’ either.

  • Like doggy crack

My dog is obsessed with these balls. It took a couple weeks, but she did eventually break the crackly part in the middle, but was never able to break through the rubber part. (She would have eaten the crackly stuff otherwise . . .) I totally recommend these.

  • Cool toy, except if you have a power chewer

    By on

This is a cool toy, however, a pup that likes to chew will tear it apart. Wish I didn’t leave it once the crate with him—would have lasted much longer. But overall, I liked it—just didn’t last with an 8 on the German Shepherd who likes to chew and shred
