Description

K&H Self-Warming Crate Pad will capture the pet's body heat and radiate back the warmth to the source. The 4 corners are slit to allow the pad to fit many different edges. The adjustable size makes this pad fit into many different crates. The topside of the crate pad is made from soft, inviting micro-fleece while the bottom has a "stay put" non-slip fabric to keep the pad from bunching up in the crate. Simply throw the whole pad in the wash for easy cleaning and care.

K&H Pet Products Self-Warming Pet Crate Pad, Tan is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 65.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My feral cats love the mat! I purchased a few of these for my feral cats and placed them in their sleeping areas (above ground and somewhat protected from wind). The mats usually have a cat on them both day and night so it looks like the mats are doing their job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Both cats love it! I bought two of these, mostly to help my senior cat stay comfortable in the winter since I have a drafty old apartment. I put them on the bed while I'm at work since that's where the cats tend to nap during the day. At first they weren't too keen on them until I realized it the plush side was giving off shocks from static electricity in the dry winter air -- flip it over and problem solved! Same warmth and no shocks. Easy to wash and dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So great!!!! Self warming pads are so fantastic! I put them under the cover already on their beds... if my dogs feel the need to get more comfortable in a cold room, they relax on the pad. I have discovered the bigger ones, like these that I have ordered are also wonderful for keeping me comfortable as well! No electricity makes them safe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money My dog gets cold very easily so I bought this pad to put in her bed. She's just as cold with the pad. No difference at all with or without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cozy Delight Riley is an abandoned cat who adopted me and spends nights on my back porch. I can't bring him inside as my old cat is territorial and snarls at him. I've made a winter shelter for Riley but until it gets cold enough for him to use, I wanted something cozy for chilly nights. This warming pad does the trick and when I peek from the window, I often see him curled up on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful product I use the sw crate pad as a topper to my dogs orthopedic beds. They like to scratch the tops of their beds to make a nest. They are able to nest with this pad, thus saving their orthopedic beds. My 12 yr old greyhound loves it and I believe it's helping his hips stay looser from the warmth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy accident made this product better than I thought I purchased one of these crate blankets for my TNR cats, to be used in the cage they stay in for a week after their spay/neuter surgery. I hadn't caught the cat I had planned to take to vet yet and this blanket was draped on my sofa for 2 days after it arrived. For some weird reason after age 50 you get weird episodes where you wake up from sleep, literally freezing and teeth chattering. No amount of clothes, blankets, or turning the heat up seemed to make it go away fast enough (usually last 20-60 minutes of torture as it feel like your standing outside in Zero below temps in your underwear) I fell asleep on sofa and woke to one of these freezing episodes, I noticed the cat crate blanket and remembered it's suppose to reflect body heat, so I grabbed it and put it over me soft side against my body and put my blanket over it, so as not to feel the nubby side. I fell asleep in 5 mins. SERIOUSLY!! :o Had another episode 2 nights ago and grabbed that blanket and again, I quickly warmed and fell asleep without having to get up. So I was telling my friend about it and he says, "Hey, order one for my Mom! She has the same problem." I said, "You seriously want me to order a pet blanket for your mom?" And he said, "Yeah, if it works who cares, she has no pets to fight her for the blanket." LOL So I ordered the largest size from a very kind Chewy customer service agent, Kolby. I admitted to him the weird circumstances of wanting 2 of the large size blankets (37 x 54 inches), one for me and one for my friends mom. Now, I can finally put this medium size one out for the feral cats and I ordered 2 small ones for my Chihuahua and for my indoor cats. EVERYONE will be Warm and Toasty now! :D K&H should consider making large blankets for people. :D BEST purchase I've made this year!! For me and the pets. LOL :D
