KONG Classic Dog Toy is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 308.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good treat stuffer but small I got a medium for my 6 week old Australian Cattle Dog. At the time it was perfect but I was hoping she could use it for years. Now at 6 months and 35 pounds the medium is too small for her. When she was really young I would just put a few treats in there to encourage her to play. Now if I need to keep her occupied I will put some peanut butter and kibble in there. Freezing food in there (nut butter and pumpkin purée) has worked great and will keep her busy for longer. I just have to remember to prepare the kong beforehand. Overall a great product but my 35 pound medium sized dog needs a large classic if I want to use it for meal time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must!! We bought one of these the very first day we adopted our 2 year old German Shepard mix and it was probably the best investment we've made in dog toys! She absolutely loves it! One recommendation I'd give is to skip the insertable treats and get the Kong sprayable stuff'n easy treat. We spray a little in the small hole at the narrower top of the toy and it keeps her busy for quite awhile. This toy lasts and lasts, we have had ours for 3 months now and take it everywhere that we bring our dog. It keeps her busy, occupied, and calms her down too. I have no complaints about this toy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product generates great results in self-directed play. I like to fill and freeze these toys with cream cheese with canned dog food to keep one of my dogs occupied while I work with the other one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dog Esctasy I have purchased these before. This is one of the few things that my sister's dog loves if it is filled with peanut butter. Wish something would fill me with such joy!!!! Also, these last and last. Put it in the dishwasher every once in a while. I keep an extra one handy in case one disappears somewhere on the floor under something.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just for Peanut Butter I got this Kong toy specifically to fill with peanut butter and freeze. I am AMAZED at how long my pup is entertained by this toy. I think it's the shape and size of the openings that perfectly conceals the peanut butter. This is a great tool for when you're away for a few hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Withstands daily use and keeps my dog occupied The Kong does everything it advertises and more. It withstands daily exposure to teeth and saliva, the dish washer, and freeze/thaw cycles. My dog has partially eroded enamel on some of his teeth, and I was worried the rubber would be too tough for him, but it isn't. I feed my dog Honest Kitchen Revel for breakfast. I hydrolyze it the night before and put what I can in the Kong and freeze it. The medium-sized kong doesn't hold much, but it's enough to get my dog chewing on it for at least an hour. I love that the Kong gives my dog something to do other than sit around. An added plus is that it forces him to eat his food slower!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kong is King at my house I'm very glad I gave this toy a 2nd try. I bought one many yrs ago for my first pup & he never took to it - I honestly thought it might be because of the rubber smell. A persistent friend begged me to try it again. Instant hit. Even if there's no treat in it, he still loves gnawing on the hard rubber -- I'm sure it is helping with his teething. Kong products thus far have not disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loves the Challenge We rescued our dog when he was eight months old and one day he just stopped eating food out of his bowl so we put his food in the Kong and make it a game for him to get the food out of the Kong to eat and he loves it. Every day he sits patiently watching me put his food in the Kong and he then takes The Kong and plays with it & the food comes out and he eats it
