  • Great for aggressive chewers!

    By on

My pit bull can destroys most chew toys within a couple hours, or for some that claim to be for aggressive chewers, just a couple of days. This toy lasted a week before he could get it to break in half. We now only have the 2 ends, but this became his most prized possession. I'll have to continually replace it, but at least I get a week out it.

  • Didn't last a day

    By on

I am so incredibly disappointed in the so called "extreme" Kong line. This bone, the KONG Traxx Dog Toy and the KONG Extreme Flyer Dog Toy, Large didn't last a day. Obviously I have a large extremely strong dog but I did't expect that he'd be able to bite through the material described as "ultra-durable Extreme rubber to stand up to the rigorous demands of even the most enthusiastic dogs" in a matter of minutes. I've spent a lot of money on toys that don't last a day and can be eaten/swallowed. I won't be buying any more Kong toys.

  • Kong is always a durable product

    By on

KONG makes the most durable products I have seen. Pretty much indestructible. The little milkbone nub treats fits in well, and you can fill it with pretty much anything you can fit in there. I also froze some PB in the holes, and I think my pup liked that the rubber got cold too, since shes been teething.

  • Really strong

    By on

I have a 70 lb Staffy and while it didn't last him forever, it took him a good 2 and a half months to even start to rip it apart. He loved it and it lasted so long! One of the longest lasting toys we've had. We will be definitely buying him another one.

  • Strong Chewer

    By on

I must say that I love this toy. My dog has gone through so many toys and it is hard to find one that he does not devour in a couple of hours but this is holding on strong. Also it was much cheaper on Chewy than in a pet store. Happy dog, happy owner

  • Pretty extreme!

    By on

I bought this for my 80lb American Bulldog mix who is a power chewer. The large is bigger than expected and is pretty weighty but that's fine for my dog. After being given it he immediately realised that the weak points are the ends where the goodies go in and has put a couple of tears in them. That doesn't seem to affect it though and it's still holding up well. The bone does smell quite strongly of rubber which isn't pleasant but he still plays with it to so I don't think it bothers him.

  • BEST TOY EVER!

    By on

If you have an extreme agressive chewer GET. THIS. TOY. My dog literally has torn up every single toy Ive ever bought her EXCEPT this one! Its been i think about a month and still going strong. I like that you can hide little treats inside them. Keeps her busy for hours. I like to put peanut butter inside it, and she goes nuts! Pun intended haha

  • Barnaby chews!

    By on

I have a pitbull/blue heeler 2 year old dog who chews absolutely everything I get him, he loves his bone he's had it for a week and he hasn't chewed thru it yet. Thank god! The only complaint I have is I wish the kong treats would go in more and it's kind of hard to jam them in other then that I love this toy and so does he it keeps him busy!

  • Two sizes of dogs like two sizes of bone

    By on

First, I soaked them in water with baking soda mixed in to lessen the rubber-tire smell. Then I rinsed them and stuffed peanut butter into the ends. The dogs took them for the peanut butter at first. But later, after I rinsed the remaining peanut butter out of the ends, they started enjoying the bones for chewing. They are holding up well with no damage.

  • Great for power chewers!

    By on

We have a 9 month old GSD who is an extreme power chewer, we'll stuff peanut butter or freeze dried liver treats in the ends, which keeps her entertained while we're out or busy around the house.
