  • Favorite of our heavy-chewer

    By on

Our 50-pound mix is a destructive chewer, so we mostly play fetch with this stick, but he just loves it. And we do allow him some limited time to chew on the ends as well (as a reward for fetching), but are amazed that it has lasted for several months with only minimal damage. Will buy another when this one goes!

  • Indestructible

My 6 month old GSD puppy LOVES this toy and carries it around everywhere! We've had it almost 2 weeks and there's no sign of wear and seems virtually indestructible! It's quite a conversation piece, too, when she comes in with it dangling out of her mouth when friends are visiting!

  • Nearly indestructible

My dog chews through everything but this. Would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the knobs on the ends and it should be about 6 in. shorter. The knobs are hard and can injure him or you when the dog shakes it.

  • No More Chewing On Splinters, And Easier To Throw!

My 8 month old Labrador's favorite game is fetch, bar none. Since we picked her up, I had been using different sticks from around the yard to play with. The problem with wooden sticks is that dogs (or at least my dog) will give in to their urge to chew on them the second you're not paying attention. Then they start coughing because, you know, you're not supposed to eat wood. They never learn. These Safestix are great though. I've had it for two weeks, but we play with it everyday. She still tries to chew it like a wooden stick, but I can't find any marks or divots so I'd say it's holding up really well. It's also got just the right amount of weight and bounce, which makes it much easier to My 8 month old Labrador's favorite game is fetch, bar none. It's also got just the right amount of weight and bounce, which makes it much easier to throw farther than a wooden stick. I know it's weird to spend this many words complimenting a fetching stick, but seriously, my dog loves it and playing fetch is much safer now. For size reference, my lab is about 60 pounds, and the medium is the perfect size for her. I've seen the larger size in stores, and I think they'd be meant for a dog slightly larger than a lab. Granted, my lab probably isn't done growing yet! … more

  • Great toy but very large

My dog loves this toy. Its very big and bulky but its an outside toy. She loves it. Its not similar to a stick but she loves running with it. Its a fun and good toy.

  • Not for aggressive chewers

    By on

My 3 year old Weimaramer chewed it up in an hour. He swallowed some of it and threw it up. Not safe unless your dog likes to play fetch.

  • My pup is not interested in this at all

    By on

I personally love this toy because I always got nervous when my puppy was playing with a regular rope toy. Maggie on the other hand could care less about it. Im hoping that when she gets older she will love it.

  • Very durable toy

There are not many toys that my Husky doesn't destroy within a matter of minutes. She loves playing fetch and tug of war with this toy. One of her favorites!
