Description

Inspired by a dog run, the Auto Zip Line restrains your dog to his area so he can't cause a distracted driving accident, while still giving him some freedom to move back and forth as well as sit and stand. Just connect the Auto Zip Line between any two fixed points in a vehicle and use the included leash to attach your dog's harness or Tru-Fit Harness to it. The leash easily connects and disconnects from the zip line when getting in or out of the car, which means instant transition from vehicle restraint to walking lead (yeah, Kurgo thought of everything).

Key Benefits

  • Package includes zip line and leash/tether
  • Zip Line can be used between any two fixed points in the vehicle or on a boat
  • Dog cannot jump out of the car when door is opened
  • Keeps dogs restrained in their area so they do not cause distracted driving accidents
  • Recommended for use with the Kurgo Tru-Fit Smart Harness

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the zip line?

The ZipLine itself can be adjusted between two fixed points from 40" to up to 72" wide. The included 3 foot leash has pockets that allow for a lot of versatility in terms of how much (or how little) freedom of movement a dog is provided when attached to the Auto Zip Line.

What is the material of the Kurgo Auto Zip Line?

The material of the Auto Zip Line is nylon webbing.

How safe is this harness for the dog?

  • With right hand, grab extra zip line webbing and apply constant pressure to the extra webbing to ensure that the seat belt stays in the locked position.

  • No tangled mess

I love this zip line so much better than the kurgo seatbelt tether. The seatbelt is great in a pinch but I keep my Brittany's zip line in my car and he doesn't get tangled up and it doesn't get twisted like the seatbelt. I use the zipline across my seat and not anchored to the pull down bars on the car ceiling. It feels more secure that way.

  • Great Product for Safe Travels with My GSD

I love this zip line and leash combo. My German Shepherd loves to ride in my truck with me and this keeps him safe and secure. He can still move from side to side while looking out both windows in the back seat but he can't come into the front seat with me. It is also keeps him safe if I have to hit my breaks quickly and it keeps him secure if I have to leave him in the truck while I go inside or pump gas. He thinks he should go everywhere that his mommy goes. I also bought the harness with the nesting buckles and it made this the perfect setup. All you have to do is snap the leash on and unsnap him from the zipline. You never have to worry about your pet getting away from you while unloading I love this zip line and leash combo. I bought a set of the comfort pads that goes on the seatbelt strap for an infants car seat to protect my handles above the door where I attached the zip line. They just wrap around the handle and then fasten with Velcro. These are very inexpensive and ithey are found in the baby section of any department store. I highly recommend this product. … more

  • It is really meant for a bigger dog

My pup ways only 22 pounds and the "gear" is so heavy that it is not practical for her. I don't think I will need one when she is older, but who knows. It is way to heavy for a puppy, but a good ideal.

  • Safe, functional, amazing!

We love this Zipline Combo. Easy to install and gives our dog the ability to move around on the zip line and we control how far forward she can go. Keeps our Puppy off of the front area in our SUV and still close enough for us to pet her and keep a close eye on her. Much better than being stuck in a carrier, isolated in the back area. This keeps her part of the family and very safe. We love that we can roll the window down for her and know she is comfortable and safe...worth the purchase just to see her ears flopping in the breeze!

  • This product is awesome!

So far the Kurgo Leash/Zipline Combo has been excellent! I needed it for my mastiff mix, Brutus. He's super strong and this has been really great for him so far. I know it's a strong/sturdy material because he hasn't broken, or even tore it yet! He is a big goofy boy, so if he can't break it, I'd say it's worth the money. I definitely recommend it.

  • Super helpful with slight modification!

I bought this to restrain my 120 lb willful Newfoundland in the car. She has a habit of trying to jump out of the window when she sees animals, making driving with her in the car very stressful and distracting. I bought the zip line along with the harness, and soon found out that with the leash connected as tightly as possible to allow her to sit in the car, she could still get her body out of the windows. We went to the hardware store and purchased two 6 inch long 1/4 diameter studs, 4 inch dia. Washers, and 4 bolts. (About 4 dollars). We measured out where we needed the strap to stop on the zip line in order for her to reach the window with her head but not her body, and cut a hole in the strap I bought this to restrain my 120 lb willful Newfoundland in the car. • Works great for my dog!

I bought this for my 70 dog who loves the car to the point that he has spent the last 9 years trying to sit in the front in the middle. This allowed him to move as much as he wanted and still be safe!
