BEING A GREAT DANE OWNER, BLOAT IS ALWAYS AN ISSUE. INSTEAD OF HAVING TO PURCHASE NEW SLOW FEEDER BOWLS, I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT AND IT HAS WORKED WONDERS. SLOWS DOWN EATING WONDERFULLY. DEFINITELY SERVES ITS PURPOSE.

My gobble stopper did not stick well in the bowl and my large dog simply took it out and ate fast anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Riley Great for quick eaters
Though my dogs were not happy with finding them in their bowls, and my littlest one went on strike for a day, I am very pleased with them. It has slowed their eating down and allows them to take their time with their meals, especially if it has gravy. They are easy to clean and care for. I bought four because I have four min pins who don't chew at all. With the new bowls I now can have time to sit and drink my own coffee without them asking for some of my breakfast.

I purchased this product to help prevent my Chesapeake bay retriever mix from gulp inhaling her food. It has slowed her down a little but not enough for my liking. I may have to get larger size, or different solution for this. It is easy to install, just have to remember to have a clean and dry metal bowl surface before trying to install. Also wet the bottom of suction cup on device and have bowl on a hard surface so when installing by pressing down on device, it does not flex bottom of bowl downward. Dogs do like to chew sides but I find that having to remove the device after each feeding a little labor intensive as lifting tab is hard to grab with dog food on ot and if bowl cleaned dry before trying to remove. A bit tricky to remove as small lifting tab is hard to grab enough to pull out.I think i need a permanent solution that does not require removal after feeding as I need less work to do.

The suction cup on the bottom doesn't stick so it just slides around and doesn't do anything. I even tried duct tape and nope! My dog caught on and would just take it out of the bowl before eating. Don't waste your money!
