Rated 5 out of 5 by Moxie Merrick is an excellent, quality dog kibble.
Merrick is a high quality dog food and it is expensive. Often my local pet food store does not have the particular blend I use. Chewy offers many blends of Merrick food at a great price and the quick delivery to my front door made my shopping experience wonderful.

I love Merrick Classic dog food! My dog has been eating it for over the last year now and has remained healthy and a consistent weight. It makes her coat shine and her nails grow like crazy, which is a good thing indicating good nutrition. I also like that it's made right here in the USA and the majority of ingredients are "locally" sourced. We have been happy with Merrick, but will be keeping a close eye on it to see if any changes are happening, they were bought out by Purina last July.

Has the ingredients and quality I like to provide for my fur family members. So tempting and tasty that I can set it out dry and be confident that my dogs will eat it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MissP This was our ONLY choice for our new puppy!
We began feeding Merrick dry food to our two previous dogs (God rest their precious souls) after I had read about the quality ingredients & positive reviews on other dog food sites. They loved it and ate it until their last days. When we decided to adopt our new puppy (black lab mix), Merrick Puppy Plate (dry & canned) was our only choice. His first day here, he gobbled it up each time he was fed! Our veterinarian was also very pleased at our choice of food. He is now 9 months old and we are slowly introducing the Beef & Pearl Barley mixture in with his Puppy Plate and he can't get enough! He is strong, energetic, happy and has a gorgeous, shiny coat. I am a professional pet sitter & wholeheartedly recommend Merrick Dog Food, treats & snacks to all of my clients. Thank you, Merrick!

I have used this dog food for over a year. I have a 2 year old Boxer and 13 year old Shar pei. And I now have a young boxer on it too. Yup, 3 dogs that go through a lot of food.
My old man the Shar pei is doing wonderful on the Classic Beef, he's very spry, healthy and looks a lot younger than he should. FYI, Shar pei's live to 10, this dog food has a hand in keeping him with us longer.
The 2 yr old boxer was very allergic when young (hives, digestive issues, etc) and I had to switch food brands many times to get one that agreed with him. Merrick Classic Beef recipe did the trick and he has been healthy with no allergy issues for over a year and he has the most gorgeous silky coat.
I highly recommend this product as a high-end dog food that doesn't hurt your wallet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stella Picky puppy loves it!! Found her food at long last!
I tried over a dozen different puppy foods for my GSP pup. She ate Merrick's grain-free puppy food from 2-4 months old, but then for some reason lost interest. So I tried Blue Buffalo, Fromm, Earthborn Holistic, Diamond, Hill's Science Diet, even Purina! I tried every puppy food I could find that met her dietary reqs, and even some that didn't (Purina Pro Plan Puppy and Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula Puppy don't have the 30% protein that my vet recommends for puppies- just so you know!). After clearing "All Life Stages" food with my vet, I started trying those. Again, Wilderness and Fromm were a no-go. So I came back to Merrick. She loves it. Still won't go for the puppy food, but she loves this All Life Stages beef variety. I sure hope she stays with it, but for now she's gobbling up her food like I haven't seen in months and it's taken a lot of weight off my shoulders. Seeing her eating enough food again made it worth the price tag. I absolutely recommend it if you can float the cost. My one (fairly minor) complaint- I don't appreciate it when dog foods advertise that they contain Glucosamine. They do, but in such a small quantity that it doesn't affect your dog. It's really just for marketing, and I don't like the idea that pet parents might buy something thinking it includes a joint supplement, when in fact it does not. I only know this because my other dog, a border collie, does agility so I've had her on daily glucosamine since the recommendation from her vet, and that's when I learned that even though her food listed "glucosamine", it wasn't even enough to affect her supplement dosages in the least.
