Our adopted pup is really a picky eater! After close to 6 months of trying the raw diet, dry food, wet food, and a mix of wet/dry food, we finally found he enjoys Hills Science Diet wet food. Unfortunately we have recently been reading it scores pretty low in quality when compared to many other items. I was searching for an upgrade that wouldn't break my bank (he like's Fromm too but it's been hard to find localy) so we tried out Whole Earth Farms... and simply put... he loves it! He went through two cans like he hadn't eaten in a week and looked up at us with what looked like a full grin. His stool is great, and just the sight of the can being brought out makes him really excited. The chicken & turkey pate' is great although it is a bit softer than the Fromm pate', although he seems to love it just the same (if not more) so I guess that's a plus. You also see bits of veggies and fruit (there are blueberries in the ingredients) after inspecting which is great. The case of 12 comes wrapped in a box, which is then packed securely with paper filling inside a larger box. Of the 12 received, about 3 had small indentations but nothing that was enough to pierce the can itself. I will continue to inspect his food as I always do but in the meantime, we are (all) very happy with the results!

Can pull tabs are breaking off, have to use can opener
to open, but, very hard to open with a can opener.

My older dog loves the food. Only downside is that all the cans seem to be somewhat dented. There's no swelling so okay to use but I'm not sure I'll continue to get if they are consistently dented.

Rated 4 out of 5 by euphxenos Good food, reasonably priced, but watch for dented cans
We're trying a wet canned food on the advice of our vet for our 85-pound greyhound. He's a little bit overweight, and the additional bulk of a wet food lets us reduce his caloric intake a bit while still letting him feel fed. This food is very well regarded on the Dog Food Advisor site, and is pretty reasonably priced for a canned dog food. There is an unfortunate amount of waste involved in this product from the dented cans we receive. Dented cans sometimes are still good, but sometimes have microscopic punctures that allow the food to spoil, even if they don't appear to be leaking. We've received a few unopened, dented, spoiled cans, so be careful and pay attention when you open the dented cans. If it looks wrong, don't let your dog eat it.

I really like this brand of food. Its not high price like some of the other good foods but its complete, no grains and very good ingredients. I have been using the chicken, beef or salmon because they come in a stew form. I didn't realize this one chicken/turkey was not in the stew form and in the patee. Its working fine he is eating it without problem. He is a very picky eater. It even looks good and smells like stew. I am very happy with it.

My dogs go crazy for this wet canned food. I use it as a top pig for their dry kibble.
