Rated 5 out of 5 by Just got my first shipment I have a cattle dog and a bully. Eating two different food and amounts I am in constant need of one food or another. I work full time and am a petite woman. I LOVE being able to just come home to a box on my porch with dog food in it. I don't have to go out of my way to a particular pet store because they are on such strict diets. I would highly recommend Chewy to any and every pet owner! December 7, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by My dog doesn't really like it. It takes her all day to eat 1cup. She doesn't really like it it takes her all day to eat one cup. She used to eat her food a lot faster. So I think the food is so so or she would Google it up. November 28, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by My puppy didn't like it!! I had previously purchased a national brand of puppy food, thought I needed something with more nutrition. My 10 week old Chi wawa mixed breed stuck his nose in the air to this product, went straight for the national brand from local grocery store, disappointed! October 17, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Quality but maybe not right for my pup Bought this because I wanted something that didn't have wheat, soy, or corn. I have a 6 month old malamute/collie mix that was fed Beaverdam by the breeder. It's too hard to find and too expensive for me so wanted something quality but cheaper and more easily acquired. -I like the ingredients -like that the kibble doesn't have a strong odor -price is good for quality and quantity However, maybe I switched his food too quickly because I didn't have much beaverdam left, but my pup's stools are really soft and sometimes full blown diarrhea. It's been 4 weeks since I switched him so I was hoping it would harden up but still mudlike. I can even hear his stomach/intestines making sounds sometimes. I'm going to finish the bag and slowly switch him to Diamond Naturals lamb large breed puppy formula. The breeder says malamutes have sensitive stomachs and my vet favors lamb diets so I'm going to try that. December 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by My miniature American Eskimo loves it & getting nutrition he needs! I love all the ingredients listed as included in this recipe and believe my almost 1-yr old American Eskimo is getting all the nutrition he needs. The only difference from his previous brand recipe is that he seems to have a harder time breaking these down to bite size but once he gets trough he chows down the bowl. Will continue to purchase this brand and puppy recipe! September 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Blondie Loves this! We just started Blondie, our American Stafordshire/American Pit Bull cross, and she loves this food. She was on a well known national brand puppy chow before and while it's not a terrible food, this is certainly more wholesome and Blondie loves the flavor. We don't have to mix in any canned with it, and her throughput is better as a result.....not as gooey and easier to clean of there's a puppy accident. Her energy levels since she started this food are also off the hook! Instead of puppy bouncing off the walls, chasing the cat and playing, it's puppy bounces off the ceiling chasing the cat and playing. Our cat also seems to like the puppy food and Blondie will actually share it with her Feline Momma Cat. All in all, we're going to continue her with this food assuming no issues crop up later like food allergy, although I suspect that will be very unlikely given the ingredients. May 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Product Very pleased with this product. Two young labs that are very active so it's important to have well balanced food for them. They seem to enjoy this food August 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Standard Poodle Pups Love This I am in rescue, mainly Standard Poodles. Some rescues arrive having been fed other foods so I slowly transition Whole Earth Farms ( by Merrick) into their food & some arrive with no knowledge of what they have been fed. All the new arrivals love it. I also feed it to any pup from Yorkies, toy & miniature poodles, Chinese Crested, & an Airedale. Out of 11 puppies, I only had one who had slightly runny stools which lasted one day. I think it was the stress of riding in a plane. I highly recommend this food. Merrick is made in the USA and sold at high quality dog suppliers. I know of several breeders, show dogs, standard poodles who retrieve, & of course, those of us who have standards for companions. ( my adults eat this brand in the adult formula also). For the cost, you can't beat the quality. December 15, 2015
