Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs Reinforcement I bought 2-36" gates to attach for my jumpy rat terriers. Quality is average. I used this outside under a canopy, so the ground anchors were obsolete. Corner stabilizers work ONLY for the octagon configuration and not for any other; therefore, I gave them instead to my puppies as chew toys. I reinforced the exercise pen with bricks all along the bottom of the panels. Except for the door, I probably could have purchased a roll of galvanized wire at Home Depot for half the price and it would have done the trick. Lazy purchase on my part. If I had the time, I probably would have done the latter. Boxes arrived a day late and instructions were easy to follow. I recommend this product for totally chilled or comatose dogs. If you have a large dog or one with any strength, it will probably knock over the panels. I give this product 3 stars because it is flimsier than I expected, it needed reinforcement and it is average for an online purchase. I recommend this product for anyone who wants a quick fix or doesn't have the time to construct a sturdier version. October 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very effective way to keep the puppy in without hurting him. This exercise pen was a great choice. The puppy does not realize he is locked up so he really has fun in the pen. January 21, 2017
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy Assembly This product is exactly what I'd hoped for...with one exception: the plastic stabilizers do not fit over the hinge points. This is disappointing...the holes are just too small. Since there are many squirrels in our backyard and I have large dogs, I chose to augment the stability with t-posts (which I painted black to match) and zip ties. Not sure I would have needed to if the stabilizers had worked...especially for a multi-panel straight run. Either way, my dogs are happy and so am I. January 9, 2017
Rated 4 out of 5 by good quality, could be bigger I know that this is the standard size (basically 4'x4', if set up square) and its perfect for travelling to shows and events, but it would be nice if you could buy 'extra' panels to make it bigger (in area enclosed) for use as an outdoor 'playpen' for the puppy at home. The pen is good quality, with a smooth finish, and came all put together...just unfold and use! January 10, 2017
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not stable enough for indoors The 42 inch Ex-pen is not stable enough for inside. The plastic seam joiners that are to be attached do nothing. In fact, one came off and my puppy was chewing on it. I took them all off. The 42" height adds to the instability. Smaller dogs that can use shorter height pens might be fine. My puppy is a three month old Spinone female about 30 some pounds. This product would be fine for outdoors as metal stakes are included. I called the company to make sure the "stabilizers" were correctly installed;they were. I was told the pen was for outside. If I had known that, I would not have planned to use it inside. I am going to stabilize with pvc pipe. I have to brace the pen with objects, so it does not shift and move all over the floor. Without additional bracing , I think she could upend it in the future. I like the door;it is convenient. The pen folds down easily and isn't too heavy. The company needs to figure out a better bracing system or advertise it for outdoor use only. May 15, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by It works I would not recommend this for a large dog or an aggressive escapee. I think this is more for a pet that would not really try to get out. It's easy to move around when on a smooth floor. It will start to lose it's shape If moved to much. The little caps that come with it that is supposed to hold it in place are useless. They need a better idea for that. I could see where this would be great outside for a temporary hold if you were at a garden party or somewhere where you need to contain your pets but allow them some room to move. I would recommend it but don't be overly enthusiastic about what you're getting here. I also would never leave a pet unattended in it. It is what it is. December 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sturdy product. Comes put together. I ordered the 4' pen but we were in such a hurry to get our rescue dog that we bought a shorter one with an upper and lower gate from a store. We doubled two panels for stability next to a gate and kitchen cabinets to form a rectangle. The short one held up to an 88 lb lab and 83 lb lab mix so our new rescue could feel secure. I don't like the double gate, comes apart and latch hard to use. Now that we have the higher one from Chewy we'll use it in place of the short one. I'm temporarily using the high one as a room divider and like the single gate with double latch. Excellent product at a great price. December 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by 42" works well for small dogs who like to jump I am using this indoor on a tile floor with one side (3 panels) up against a wall and connected to a crate. It is serving my purposes very well and the price was quite affordable. Thank you! January 3, 2017
