Assembly is a breeze. It's already put together; you just have to pop it up. The black color makes it much more attractive in a high-use area, and the door on the side allowed us to fit it in the corner of our living room between the wall and the couch perfectly. However, this is not the sturdiest crate. We only use this when we're in the room and need one of our dogs to take a break. When we leave the house, they are in their heavier-duty thick steel crates. If you have an escape artist, this crate is probably not for you. There are gaps between the walls and the door and the door hangs rather loosely. The price is awesome, and it looks great, but I would recommend this only for supervised use or for older or more sedate dogs who won't go crazy in it.

I ordered this on January 12 and got it today January 14. I couldn't believe how fast this crate was delivered. Very easy to set up and take down. I ordered the 48in for my German Shepherd and it is perfect. I love that it has 2 doors and a Lot cheaper than at the stores. Just got it and set it up today but seems like it will be sturdy enough for my Maggie. Plenty of room for her to turn around, stand up, sit , and lay down and be comfortable. Would definitely recommend this crate!

We rescued a pit mix and brought her home on Christmas Eve. I had bought a crate the day before from a big box pet store. Unfortunately it was too small but thankfully the store accepted my return with no issues. My brother recommended this cage from chewy.com. Not only is it bigger but it is better quality than the smaller one I returned AND much cheaper! I will be buying all my pet needs at chewy.com from now on.

i liked the first one so had to get another when i got a new dog. This price for a 48" with 2 doors is cheaper than the single door ones i can find locally. They seem well built and have no trouble holding my 50lb hyper active aussie. She has never got out of this crate. She started out in it as a puppy so i dont know if this would hold a 100lb adult pit bull that was not crate trained. I would recommend the 48" to give your dog plenty of room. My only complaints is it is made to be portable but would be too heavy to carry and would take up too much room in car so i just keep it in my house and it works fine and i ordered on friday and did not receive until wensday i guess they dont ship on weekends because i always receive my orders in 2 days during the week this took five. helpful tip I cover the top and sides with sheet to make my dog feel more comfortable in it but i leave the front open and near air vent so she is not too hot. i think this is a great deal and highly recommend it when cost is a factor.

We recently purchased two large crates. They were exactly as described and an amazing value. They were shipped right away and came superquick. I love buying products from Chewy.com because they come quickly and right to your front door.

We were first time crate trainers to our 5 week old Siberian Husky (we used other methods with our past family dogs). This has been by far the easiest method! We got the 42 in crate knowing full well that our puppy was not going to stay a puppy for long. The divider comes in very handy while he's still small. It's his own bedroom & he goes in when he wants to & when we can't keep an eye on him. Midwest makes one of the best products out there. It's durable, & portable. Would definitely buy again!

Unbelievably easy to put up and take down which is important to me because I travel a lot by car with my pets and I need to take my kennel along. Plenty sturdy for my 70 lb. German Shorthair Pointer. One tip for use. At night, I put a blanket over the top and sides to make the kennel more 'den like' for the dog. Just my opinion, but when sleeping I think this makes him feel a little 'safer'.
