Ok so normally against reviews on products that either A) were mediocre or B) ended up broken the next day due to one of my boys being rough. But I have 3 1&1/2 year old German Shepherd Boys and 2 10 week old Girls and they have not broken, bent, knocked over, or spilt anything from these bowls. Not only that but they are easy for me to see when they're clean and the price was fantastic. My brother in law whom gave me the two Girls I have went to a local store and not only payed the same price for an 8.oz cup made of a tan hard plastic but also ended up with something that 10 week old puppies are chewing they (of course they're starting to teeth) so yes when they are full grown I will invest Ok so normally against reviews on products that either A) were mediocre or B) ended up broken the next day due to one of my boys being rough. • Much sturdier than others!

    By on

Other bowls I'd gotten to hang on my dog's kennel he could Easily get out of the holder - and then - he could get the holder itself off and into his crate. This one is much better designed, clearly with this sort behavior in mind - and it solved the problem. He can still, when he puts his mind to it, get the bowl out of the holder since it has to be able to be removed!! But it takes him longer and he often no longer tries. And the mount on the side of the kennel he can't dislodge. Recommend this product!!

  • Good idea but a smart dog will still create a mess

Purchased these so that we could put in kennel to avoid the dogs picking up their dishes or knocking the dishes over with their paws. (I tried the neater feeder and they took it apart in 5 mins. of course if I sit there its fine) Based on some of the reviews I decided to leave dishes connected BUT my german sheps had another idea. Within about 15 minutes the three month old dislodged both bowls. So then I went back in and took large binder clips and clipped the bowls to the holder. This has worked so far though they were able to remove some of the clips (they are super smart). Next we are going to try to screw the bowls into the holder. The maker must have heard the reviews and the stickers Purchased these so that we could put in kennel to avoid the dogs picking up their dishes or knocking the dishes over with their paws. Have not seen any rust issues yet but its early. … more

  • Well built

I have trouble getting the bowls to seat in the clamp. I think because of the bowl shape, they want to slip out, like pinching a watermelon seed in your fingers. They seem to stay put once i get the bowls to stay put. I think the bowls need about 1/2 inch of the design perpindicular to the rim, if that makes sense. Or just a "can" shape instead of bowl shape.

  • Great fit for XL dog crate

    By on

Great fit for our 65 pound poodle in an XL dog crate. Though he doesn’t need 8 cups of water, it gives extra space in the bowl to not splash while popping in and out. The snap mechanism is pretty tight but it needs to be to hold it. May be too tight for some seniors to pop in and out.

  • It works but...

    By on

The bowl attaches well to the crate and doesn't spill when my pup bumps into it. However, sometimes I need to remove and insert the bowl with water in it and the clamp is so strong that the water splashes out. So l find myself taking the whole thing off by the wingnuts.

  • very nice bowls

    By on

These bowls are excellent for the cost. one problem, I'd like there to be instructions, telling you if the piece between the parts that attach to the cage is supposed to stay in there or if its supposed to be taken out. I opted to leave it in cause I wasn't sure.

  • Perfect for attaching to the kennel

    By on

This bowl is great. If we go out for a couple hours we want to make sure our puppy has water but also we don't want the mess of her dumping a regular bowl. This attaches easily to the side and can not spill. Perfect for a short stay in the kennel.

  • Awesome Bowls

    By on

Love these! My dog can't knock them over in his crate and they slide in and out fairly easy if I need to clean them. The label inside the bowl came off easily. The one on the outside didn't, but I didn't care much about that so I just left it on.

  • Nice and Clean

My dog is prissy and when he used to have a water bowl in his cage he wouldn't drink from it because it was sitting on the floor of it and when he would drink he would get water on his mat. So I bought him this in hopes it wouldn't get everywhere and he would drink water throughout the day when I'm not home. It was a perfect buy.
