  • Rusted within 24 hours

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I had these in the cage for one day. When I went to remove the bowl and change the water the next day, there was rust on the rim. The bracket that holds the bowl rusted that quickly. I had one, seven pound cat in the cage, so he wasn't gulping and splashing water all over the place. It's a great idea, but shouldn't rust in a day.

  • Hard to snap in and out

    By on

Snapping the bowls in and out is a little difficult - especially if they are already attached to the cage. Be careful if they are filled with water or food when snapping them out, and scoop food in after it's snapped in. I had to return this product because it was too difficult to snap in and out and was a pain for me. I also tried this on a Frisco 2 door crate, and it doesn't sit between the bars perfectly, but it's stable enough for those who want something like this.

  • Would not recommend

    By on

The dish will not stay snapped into place and tips when my puppy touches it, spilling the water and food everywhere. I would highly recommend the other bowl Chewy sells that has the complete metal ring that you place the bowl in. It only cost a penny more and worth every bit of it.

  • Nice bowl, but...

    By on

Really nice bowl and set up but it's not as sturdy as I would like. If pet puts pressure on it (e.g., when eating) it tends to slant downward and needs to be adjusted to level again. Would still recommend, however, as long as you don't have a large pet.

  • Terrible, can't even use them

    By on

can't remove the stickers from the bowls because the adhesive is too strong. No matter howmuch soaking and scrubing but now the bowls are all scratched and still can't get the adhesive off so I won't have my dogs eat or drink out of them. What the heck kind of adhesive could they have used that it won't come off so the bowls can be used??? very upsetting, had to go out and buy replacements.

  • should have bought this earlier

This bowl is great quality. We can easily transfer it between her crate and her pen. Because it "screws" to attach to the crate/pen, it might take an extra couple seconds to move, if you want it to move. But I like that it screws for a secure hold that I know our pup can't knock off. The bowl snaps in securely too. I think this is a great product, and we couldn't beat the price!

  • Great Quality stainles's steel bowl

    By on

I use these bowls for my parrots. I purchased some other hanging stainless steel bowls (coop cups) and these bowls. Most of the coop cups split within a week. They weren't the same quality as the original cage cups. These Snap'y fit bowls are thick and strong. The 2.5 and 4 cup sizes use the same holder. The 4 cup is deeper. These bowls are used for food, water, toys and bathtubs. I've been using the same bowls for more than 2 years and they still look shiny and new. They go through the dishwasher every day. I also use them occasionally for my little dog.

  • MIDWEST SNAP'Y KENNEL BOWL

    By on

I purchased two bowls to put into the crate for my Maltese. One for her food and one for her water. They were easy to screw onto the crate and she uses both of them now instead of her old water and food bowls. For ease of food and water supply I recommend them highly.

  • GREAT PRODUCT

    By on

I use this for my B&G Macaw's food dish. Bird dishes are usually heavy pottery because they stand on the edges and then put their heads into the bowls to eat. The bowls can't tip over because then there would be no food for the bird. I'm getting older and carrying around and washing 12 inch diameter heavy bowls daily was getting painful. I was tapping the darn bowls against each other and also against the sink leading to broken expensive dishes. They just got too heavy for me. Regular bowls were not a viable option but these work perfectly and are so light. Feeding is now a very pleasant experience again. If there was an even wider size I'd change out the water bowls in a flash. He likes to bathe I use this for my B&G Macaw's food dish. • Perfect for our needs!

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

Bowl fits nicely in its holder - very secure. Purchased for an injured dog that needs to stay in an x-pen for several weeks for recovery. Works well clipped on the side of the pen - great size too! Only slight drawback is it would be tricky to clip in with water in it and not have a spill - so we bring water to it and fill it in place.
