Rated 4 out of 5 by Hailey25 pug and min pin liked it then they didn't
I have an 8 yr old pug who will pretty much eat anything that you feed him. My minpin is more of a picky eater, she's almost 2 yrs old. I started feeding them natural balance because of their limited ingredient my pug has a lot of allergies and i thought that this would help them. I was feeding a combination of dry and wet at first they both loved it but half way into the bag and cans they started leaving the food behind . My min pin wouldn' t touch it she started losing weight and my pug would scratch way to much . I noticed that when i use to feed them the duck formula they would eat it in seconds, but unfortunately because of his allergies i had to move to salmon. I thought by feeding salmon his coat would glow and shed just a little less. I know that pugs are year round shedders, but that wasnt his case he would just continue to sctatch through out the night . I love the brand and the variety of flavors it just wasn't for them.

by SCOOTER Healthy and my dogs LOVE it!
I have been using the Natural Balance canned foods for my dogs for well over 2 years now. They love all the varieties and they are made in the US (important to me) and have ingredients that are good for my dogs. I foster and have used this for a variety of dog breeds and sizes. They all love it! If in doubt, try it out. You won't be disappointed.

Gypsy started not eating, i tried this works mixing in her food...beats mixing people food in it. She likes either one.

We struggled for 6 months trying to pinpoint what was causing our year old rat terrier to dig at his ears, under his front legs and cause eye lid puffing and redness from his excessive scratching. After several rounds of otic drops for his ears, rounds of prednisone, purchasing prescription dog food from our vet, and taking him off EVERYTHING and just feeding him canned salmon and sweet potatoes...WE DISCOVERED this food. After months of research we decided we had nothing to lose. He was losing hair around his eyes and his ears were red, bloodied and irritated more often than not. After 1-week of this product we began to see improvement and by the end of the second week his scratching was only sporadic. We have tried other N.B. LID food and he still reacts to the chicken and bison (he may have developed antibodies to those protiens). However, the fish/sweet potato has resolved his issue and we have been 100% for the past three months!! We have now introduced the fish/sweet potato treats and he is doing great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Taichi68 This product wasn't good for my dog.
He likes the dry in this but the wet he just didn't like the smell or taste. I've had a difficult time feeding him.

My dogs love this stuff. Not sure yet if it is helping my chow lab mix's skin issues yet. We use this in combination with Natural Balance LID Sweet Potato & Venison. We are on our 2nd week and my problem puppy (2 yrs old) has not been showing further signs of his continuous ear infections which is good.
