by Mmmm123 Really good for the little guys
When we got our Pixie, he had very little hair. The rescue org even said he's a Chinese Crested mix. (Well, what else could they say? They got him hairless, they sold him hairless, right?)
Wrong! our super hairy little beast just clearly never had Limited ingredient SUPER food in his life.
He loves cheap wet foods, so sometimes we give him Cheapie stuff from Safeway as a treat, but it isn't 2 days of that and he loses a patch of hair somewhere. Back to these kibbles and his hair grows back in days.

He's also a picky eater but likes to have this food mixed with a little rice or boiled chicken.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Saspants Our 14 year old Pekingnese loves it
We have a very finicky 14 yr old Pekingnese that turns her nose up at almost everything we try feeding her. I had mistakenly purchased this for one of my Pugs, with 4 dogs they eat three different types of food. Lola, the Pekingnese had been eating the Nature's Variety Venison and Lamb, which is a great, but after nearly a year grew tired of the flavor or size. When I saw the small size of this kibble, I offered to Lola and she went to town eating her dry before touching her portion of canned food. The size is very small, which I think is great for dogs weighing less than 10 lbs. In our case, she is not only small (~7#), but at 14 years has lost a few teeth so this kibble is very easy for her to manage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Llindenberg Glad to have my happy dog back! :)
I have a 16-17 year old male Shih-Tzu. We were really thinking he was not long for this world. His allergies had gotten really bad and the vet had him on prescription dog food. Gizmo's allergies continued to bother him, he lost weight, and his coat was dull. He is fairly well blind and deaf also, and it was like he lost the will to live. He just moped around and slept. He never lifted or wagged his tail. I purchased this food for my other two dogs. I forgot to pick up Gizmo's food from the vet one day, so I let him have some of this food. HE LOVED IT! He's been on it for a good 3 months now and what a changed dog he is! He is full of life again, prancing around and has even found his bark again. It's like he has a new lease on life. His allergies are still there, but tolerable. It's much better than they were on the prescription diet. So HAPPY to have found this food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JoJo Good for Dogs with Digestive Issues
After transitioning to this product for my Blenheim Cavalier, her bouts of diarrhea ended. I was previously feeding her an extremely expensive, highly rated dog food that was grain free and had a higher percentage of protein. My ruby Cavalier is able to tolerate the more expensive, high protein dog food, but she has been on a daily antibiotic for two years for similar digestive issues. I think that if we stick to Natural Balance L.I.D. Potato & Duck Formula, we won't have to put our Blenheim on a daily antibiotic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BKpups Perfect food for sensitive dogs
I've been feeding this food to my dogs for years. Both have food sensitivities and allergies, but I've found that this formula doesn't bother either of them. I've also used it with over 20 foster dogs without one issue! I mix it with the Venison wet food and they all love the flavors. I highly suggest this for small dogs with sensitivities. It's what the rescue I work with uses and I've seen it work with all kinds of dogs.
