Instinct never uses fillers like grain, gluten, corn, wheat and soy, because they think every ingredient should have a specific nutritional and functional purpose.

Real meats, whole fruits and vegetables and turmeric are a few of the ingredients Instinct uses to provide naturally derived nutrients and enzymes for overall wellness.

The Mindful Choices Instinct Makes

Every Instinct recipe shows the careful, deliberate approach they take in crafting their food. They use only real ingredients, and you'll never find artificial colors, flavors or preservatives or fillers like corn, wheat or soy.

Well-balanced food source that contains fiber, vitamins, minerals and beta-carotene.

Provide a complete amino acid profile, including essential nutrients for optimal health.

An all-natural hypoallergenic starch that is highly digestible, grain-free and gluten-free.

Helps maintain the proper balance of acid and alkaline throughout the body.

My dog has allergies and can eat only rabbit and venison for protein. She really likes both of these products and I am delighted that you carry them.

  • great food for pampered babies

    By on

My Siberian Husky Maile developed an allergy to some of the food I was giving her but she loves this! Especially when I hold the plate for her and she eats dinner as she's curled up on her chair. She's a little pampered but worth it!

  • well worth the money

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

In treating our dog's pancreatitis we were looking for healthy canned foods and a variety, not the ordinary beef, chicken and turkey. The three we've tried so far have been excellent: salmon, rabbit, venison, and low in fat.

  • Another Instinct Success

    By on

Just gave the Rabbit Instinct canned food to my two doodles, mixed with some dry. They LOVED it! I don't know if dogs really care about changing up their food flavors but the way they gobbled it up and licked their bowls makes me think they recognized something new. So far they've been fans of the beef and chicken as well. Great product! The Instinct biscuits are also excellent!

  • Dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE this canned food

    By on

It is very important to me that my dog food products are grain free. This canned food has been my dogs favorite by far. I have given them the Blue Buffalo canned Salmon, Red meat and Chicken formula. The basic instinct rabbit food is by far their favorite. They don't walk away and turn their nose up at this food.

  • This product got my dog to eat.

    By on

My dog was diagnosed with Stage 5 Lymphoma and towards the end of her chemo treatments she would not eat at all. This is the only food I could get her to eat. She likes both the Rabbit, Venison and the Duck brand.

  • This food seems has great appeal to my English Setter.

    By on

I give him one-half of a five ounce can with Fromm game bird dry nuggets (which have been a long-standing favorite of his). He seems to really like the combination, and it gives him some variation from the Nature's Variety Instinct beef canned food that I also feed him with the Fromm nuggets now and then.
