Rated 5 out of 5 by Corgiluvr Really love the Nature's Variety Instinct LID's
I switch my dogs diet between the three varieties available. Have had no digestive problems at all. I switch to another variety each order so that the boys get some variety in their diets.
If you are looking for a quality diet with few ingredients and no grain, give this a try. We've been using it for years and getting it on a schedule from Chewy really saves money and time.

This food saved both my dogs and my cat. My cats diabetes has subsided. My dogs were always very lean and this filled them out and made them look healthier. They look forward to their meals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bigfeet Save on Vet Bills!!!
I have an Alaskan Malamute, she's about 85lbs and the vet said that she was going to have to go on antibiotics for the rest of her life. I had already been looking at foods and we had tried several good brands but it turns out she's allergic or intolerant to chicken, eggs, turkey, and lamb.
This was a money saver, plain and simple. You think the cost of the food is high (it is, at a bag per month) but when you compare it to a $150.00 vet visit with meds very month or every other month, plus the distress she was in...it was literally the runs going on 5 days and she had one bowl of this food and she was solid the next morning, we were amazed.
If you think your baby has allergies this is one of the best single protein/carb foods out there. If you just can't afford the cost of this food then my next best suggestion would be Zignature. She now gets a mix of the Instinct Duck and the Zignature Trout.

My poor 5-month APBT was scratching constantly and losing hair in patches around her body. I tried a grain-free food, which helped, but not completely, so I went to this fully limited-ingredient food. Her hair completely grew back in a week/week-and-a-half, and she is so soft and shiny :) She also doesn't scratch anymore. Our other dog, who can tolerate regular food, steals a few bites from time to time and he loves it so much he doesn't want to touch his normal food. Sorry, buddy. I can't afford to have both of you on the special food ;) Highly recommend this for dogs prone to skin issues. No need for additional fish oil or probiotics, or expensive Rx shampoos at the vet. Just get this food :)

While I can't offer you a first hand account of nature's variety's taste, flavor profile, texture, or desirability, I can, with confidence, state that my dog's love it. I have two (2) samoyed puppies (6 mo. & 9 wks.) and they become remarkably excited prior to feeding. While that, in itself, is not remarkable, I have never quite seen the level of anticipation of receiving food. I had prior had five (5) samoyed's who, by history, can be particular around food. Nature's Variety has consistently been well received by both of my current puppies and I expect that they will continue to enjoy this brand going forward. I strongly recommend this dog food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JM49 Great part of a rotational diet
My three dogs love this food. One of my dogs has severe food allergies. It can be difficult to find food he can and will eat that is wholesome and isn't too expensive to feed to all three dogs.

I have a very picky female Border Collie that's 9 months old. I feed on calories and not on volume. This is an excellent dry food that doesn't upset her stomach, full of nutrients and vitamins she needs being on an LID. Definitely recommend this food to anyone with dogs that have sensitive stomachs and allergies.
