Rated 5 out of 5 by This food is perfect for my Large breed Dogs My dogs love it. Have 2 Mastiffs they have never walked away from this food. They love this flavor, who would not like Beef. They speak highly of this product. August 18, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Highly Rated food that my dog is not crazy about The food has great ingredients and my 2 year old lab mix transitioned to it from Whole Earth Farms without any adverse affects on his poop production. But, it does not seem to be a food to rave about. My dog is very picky about foods, in general, but also I must switch flavors frequently. I get no more than two 25-30 lb bags out of my dog before needed a change. Even then, I often still have to use additives like beef or chicken broth or sprinkle food with things like Parmesan to encourage him to eat. This was the first food in a while that he was not excited for the change. From the beginning, he has walked away from the food at most feedings. What usually helps me also is switching proteins sources, but this time was an unsuccessful Chicken and Turkey to beef. That being said, for whatever it is worth, his stools are firm and coat continues to look good. March 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by fussy eater Fantastic, have been searching for something our dog likes Natures Variety Beef and Barley. He is a big boy at 92 lbs. East 1 cup breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime and sometimes gets a little extra so between 4/5 cups a day. The Weimer likes it so problem getting him to eat. Wish i had found this years ago. He is 8 years old and runs every day 4 to 5 miles every morning. Seems to be thriving on this dog food!!! November 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dog has been eating Nature's Variety Prairie for 4 years My dog has been on Nature's Variety Prairie dog food for over four years. Was introduced to the product after her Vet suggested that she lose some weight. Has always finished her daily amount of food. Her coat has been shiny and healthy. Her weight is easy to maintain. I purchase the 5 lb bag to make sure she will eat the product and then order larger bags. I have not found a variety she has not liked. August 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good food for rotation feeding I have been using Nature's Variety for years now. I use this protein/grain combo at least 2x or 3x a year. My dog loves it and transitions without difficulty in and out of each combo. The best thing is rather than going to my local pet shop and trying to find which variety they are carrying in-stock.... I get to chose what my dog eats every month. January 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I like the idea 0f all natural, made in USA, with no fillers corn wheat or soy. I have 3 dogs, 2 Whippets (1 is 9yrs. old, 1 is 3 yrs. old) and 1 Basenji, she is 15yrs. old. I am showing the younger one in obedience, racing and lure coursing, and am starting him in Rally, Agility and dock diving, I have been very concerned about what I was feeding and did some research, I was happy with what I read about your food and feel safe feeding it to my dogs. Rated 5 out of 5 by the ingredients seem to be on top I have three pugs, they are on the chicken diet from natures. They love the chicken so I thought I would give some variety. Given the current state of consumption the beef food will last a year. They don't seem to like it as well as the chicken May 23, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Product has great features, but One of my dogs is a very finicky eater, and he will eat this food only when he gets very hungry. But then he's the same way with every other dry food we've tried.... (so far we've tried beef, chicken, lamb and salmon - paws done for all of them! :( April 15, 2015
